Been posted a month ago. A good deal by USwitch for new Virgin Media customers with 12 Months contract only.

50MB @ £5 /month = £60
Line rental @ 17.99/month = £215.88
New customers credit £50 using promo code VMBRVOU50

In sum, the deal is 225.88/ 12 months

If you go for line rental saver option, which is £165 for a 12 months, same package can work out around £175 /year only (approximately 14.50/ month).

50MB will be soon upgraded to 70MB.

I am currently using Virgin Media and got the same deal in October. So far I had no issue unless some equipment upgradation working is going on in your area.
For existing customers, better way is to speak with customer services team and try to get a good deal near to contract expiry.
do any existing customers have good deal?
Best deal they offered me before I left virgin was £16pm but i still left, took out the sky deal £25pa.

most virgin customers will have had a letter recently telling them prices are going up, that was the time to put in your cancellation notice even within a contract as you can leave at no cost and they will give you a deal to stay.
I got the posted deal as a new customer 2 weeks ago. Called VM about MIL's existing deal, their cancellations team matched the offer for her, told them we'd disconnect and reconnect under FIL's name otherwise
