V FESTIVAL 2009

This year's V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile, truly lived up to its reputation as the live music destination of the summer. To celebrate, we are giving fans the chance to purchase a limited number of tickets for 2009's V Festival on 22nd and 23rd August at 2008's prices on a first come, first serve basis. From 10am on Tuesday 19th until midnight on Tuesday 26th August tickets will be available priced £125 for the weekend or £145 for camping for next year's V Festival. There will also be a limited number of camper van pitches available at £60 per pitch (all prices subject to booking fee).

Weston Park Staffordshire and Hylands Park Chelmsford - Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August 2009.

i have just ordered a couple of tickets over the phone but didn't know you had to buy car parking tickets, does anyone know if there is only just one car park or is there a separate one for camping yellow and red.
thanks

Red is the official site

Yellow is the unofficial (and very good) site

Blimey, still recovering from this years after getting back yesterday!

We were at Chelms in the red site. Certainly got messy on Monday morning! :-D

Agreed. We stayed in Yellow last year and Red this year (Chelmsford). Yellow was far superior to Red in terms of the loos and facilities. I think Yellow is privately owned. Notwithstanding the change in layout this year, I suspect Yellow was probably better and marginally closer to the arenas.

Oh and to the person that asked about car parks - yes Yellow and Red are served by separate car parks. There's a space for campervans in Yellow car park too

Why would anyone want to buy tickets for a festival without knowing who will be playing ?
Why do they need to sell tickets for an event a whole year in advance ?
