Super find have some heat!:p
Just a heads up that these are very bass heavy
Thanks, got M100 black since years, a bit consumed so good to replace with these ones.
Wow...I'm sure they were around £250 when I purchased them. Absolute steal!

Purchase the XL ear pads and fit them on...they're a must!

These things are built like a tank, would survive a good battering

Is the wireless XFBT version any good? I can see it here for £99, in White/Silver and Black/Red amazon.co.uk/V-M…DNO
And you can personalize them with fridge magnets
I use these for DJing - awesome

For this price they are excellent. My friend had a pair and I listened to "Reverence" - Faithless, which is my default headphone testing track, and the sound, especially the bass, was phenomenal. They are excellent for DJing, but also superb for just shutting out the world and listening to every keystroke on a piano or sounds in songs that you've never heard before.
Is the mic good enough for gaming?
Price gone up?
These are the best, had mine for years at more than double the price.

Hot, review here: https://www.whathifi.com/v-moda/crossfade-m-100/review

3 stars because the reviewer doesn't like bass heavy headphones. In a comparison of bass-heavy headphones they would be one of the best.

I have owned many expensive headphones, from Bose to Shure to Klipsch to Sony but for bass-heavy kind of headphones I consider the VModa M100 the best available. The fact that ear pads can be easily changed (I infact use the XL ones) is a mega plus.

Not bluetooth I take it, hence the price reduction?

It's ok but not as good as the VModa BoomPro mic which I use with these headphones and works flawlessy.

(About the wireless XFBT version) Thanks for the reply, the only review that gave me pause (that, and as there are newer Bluetooth models of these headphones out now with aptX - much pricier, though) was this one

As a DJ these headphones just don't cut it. Only good as a wireless headphone

I'm a DJ -The SloaneRanger- and I had the V-Moda Crossfade LP's which lasted for four years. Naturally I stuck with V-Moda for my next purchase and bought these V-Moda Crossfade Wireless headphones but I am not happy. Compared to my previous pair these headphones sound so dull. Initially I thought that it had something to do with burn-in so I used them for three weeks for at least an hour a day and the sound stayed dull. Weird thing is that when I connected the headphones to bluetooth then the sound was full and accurate. So as a wired headset they just don't work for DJ'ing but as a wireless headset they sound great. I've decided to keep them as I've never had a wireless headphone and can use them while travelling but I will now be buying the wired V-Moda M100's for DJ'ing.
These should be noise isolating but a review on Amazon mentioned that they leak sound. What gives?
Whoah! Crazy price! Would be insane not to grab them at this price.

These are fun headphones. Warm, built like a tank, noise isolation, and they do not leak. You'd have to be listening to something really loud for it to leak, and even then, it's nowhere near how open headphones are.

I own one white, and purchased a Shadow coloured one when it went on sale at Christmas for £110!

Using it with a FiiO BTR3 on the go, and an IFI Zen on my desktop. I think I'm all set.

These are far better for gaming, open back gives a much wider sound stage and you want something more neutral, bass heavy isn't good for gaming. hotukdeals.com/dea…182

V Moda headphones have a small vent in each earcup, it's those three lines as the bottom of the metal platep. However all headphones will leak some sound if listened to loud enough, and from my past ownership of V Moda headphones (I don't anymore and have no loyalty to any brand) the level of leakage is not noticeably worse than other sealed headphones in this class.
