There's so much to do in NYC I wouldn't recommend anything less than a week, unless you plan on returning again in the near future.

Hotel is Brooklyn though. Would rather pay £150 more and stay in Manhattan. Everything a bit closer and more convenient

If you prefer to stay in Manhattan rather than Brooklyn then get a Priceline or Hotwire mystery deal, you can easily find something at a similar £70-80 per night.
Having stayed in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, I much preferred spending my nights in the latter, I gotta say.
I'll have to ring my ex on February
Are they trying to fill hotels, February! I bet you can't stay out long exceptionally cold. Brrrr
Hot for the flight price, cold for the hotel - not voting either way.

Pod hotel in Brooklyn for Valentine's Day, yikes. A nice late night romantic subway journey every evening :/. Not for me thanks.

Likewise, I've stayed in Queens and Manhattan and much preferred Queens.

Much better value for money and incredible views from the other side of the river.

Personal preference I guess.

“Looking at the list of the most dangerous neighborhoods, Brooklyn has the highest count with 8, the Bronx comes in second with 7, Manhattan follows with 5, and Queens has zero of the top 20 most dangerous neighborhoods in NYC.”

Depends what people enjoying doing. I went feb 2017 for 5 nights and new year 18/19. I find shopping not as great as its made out to be and finding places to eat hard sometimes. I've done all the main stuff but want to go back as I love it there.
You're 10 times more likely to get mugged in London than New York City.

That's because you don't live in New York City
I've looked at pod hotels in New York in the past and been put off as some have shared bathrooms. Is this the case with this one?

We go to Jersey Mall, a short (ish) bus ride from the Port Authority Terminal. Good shopping there. But we got back and went to 5th where A&F had an event that had free beer. That did get me spending LOL.
Oh and the Port Authority has some of the best escalator views I have ever seen (industrial brutal at it's finest)! 37800761-a3zOE.jpg

Looks and sounds good. I like sightseeing but next time I'm taking a day off to get transport to Washington dc as only 4 hours... Be a long day though.
Ive been a few times, stayed in various places. But dont be put off by brooklyn, i love it there. and the subway is super quick and easy.

Dont get me wrong, if i could find a hotel in manhattan for same price i would, but id rather save a few ££ and jump on the subway.
A fantastic price for flights - but just a quick note to say that some of these flights are codeshares and are actually operated by Delta and American Airlines.

Not being picky, but just letting folks know that the service / planes might not be by British Airways or Virgin Atlantic themselves

Thank you for posting OP
