Bought a dozen of these last year Only 11 worked !
Gonna grab some now. Love these but only ever had them a couple of times.
Does they give you pearl?
I'm home with my oysters. The package instructions (I bought a few packs) say they should not be eaten raw which is slightly disappointing as I believe that's how I had them before. Anyone have any advice as to whether these are OK raw or not? At least for today and tomorrow, say?
Disgusting things - like salty flem!
Im with Frank skinner on this...eating oysters is like licking phlegm off a tortoise !
Its funny just how some people love these weird slimy shells of doom and everyone else hates them.
Personally, I'm with Besford on these. They are just awful and God only knows why these are so sought after.
Best of luck to those who like them though.
They are really nice cooked. Make some garlic butter, put the garlic butter on the oysters and then stick them under the grill. Served with some nice bread they are fab...

Not sure about your local Morrison’s but ours and reduced oysters can lead to only one thing 😳

Google it !!!! My Grandson has Norovirus, I’ve just googled that and it says that oysters carry the Norovirus, you could get more than you bargained for.
Mmmmm Norovirus....
Per the NHS "For most people, however, eating oysters may be a rare indulgence, with no major health risks." Google it !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ill just slip her some pink viagra instead

To be honest I think raw probably has to be reserved for when you're on the coast so that they're super fresh. Even then it's a bit risky... Be on the safe side and cook them

I seriously doubt that they will hurt you to eat raw. Was the packaging generic-that is for all products from fish counter? If you do cook them don't overdo it, just lightly cook. To the best of my knowledge oysters are kept in cleansing tank before sale therefore keeping risks well down. If oyster is open (unlikely)and does not close don't eat. The most harm most oysters cause is opening them, just take care. Good luck!
