Beware of the Morrisons deals as I got caught out last year when having it delivered. Ordered it but the food went out of date before the 14th Feb which was pretty annoying.

Sainsbos one looks like far better value. Given that you need to get extra stuff to bulk it out (it's never a full meal) the M&S one seems like it's heading towards the point where you might as well just take your partner out for dinner if you're trying to impress them

Good work and looks like some nice combos.

The £12 Tesco deal doesn't work. Tried in-store just now and only with starter and at £18 it works.

Ask a staff member. If it's advertised at 12, it should be 12

Be good if any marks and Spencer’s had the Wellington in stock. Only decent main and they literally haven’t had it in stock in stores since advertising
  16. andyfisher100's avatar
Had a look at most of them. essentially if you dont like prawns or shellfish, the starters are all crap. Apparently none of them have heard of chicken or anything else for that matter
    peakbear's avatar
Chicken Parfait is a pretty good starter and prawns and other shellfish sound pretty good.

Morrisons didn't have much left and they let me have a beef wellington instead

We plumped for the Morrisons one this year. M and s one looked rubbish for the extra £10
  19. kicksmithy's avatar
Got the M&S beef wellington this morning!
  20. KevC2018's avatar
I think the M&S one is well overpriced this year. Also you used to get a little box of chocs which you don't get anymore. Asda for £12 is a steal although we tried it the other day and the pork main was tough!

Which one is the best food?
  22. Redninja24367's avatar
Why don't people actually make there own meals 🤦 soo much better & cheaper.... Get a cook book and both cook a meal together far more rewarding (edited)

Because it's mostly the men cooking on valentines day and we ain't much good at it
