OH GO AWAY.

junk4

OH GO AWAY.

with horse tail starter?

It got to be M&S!

In before the 'heat for effort' BS.
Cold.

Meh they are not very much saving really, worked in supermarkets for 6 years and these deals are on every year but infact they are not real savings and to bring you in to buy this and more for sales to boost since xmas. No offence to OP but these are pretty naff

Anything's better than Sainsbury's

Jeez I wish there was an Asda or M&S closer to me.

Some right moaners on here today.... Heat added

Thanks for the effort but those are not entirely good deals. Besides if you really cared for somebody you wouldn't go whapping pre-cooked meals into the microwave!

cheaper to eat out...

I agree... These are so expensive. Might as well go out and spend some extra pennies.

cheers op for all the info.must say none really stand out.reckon i might charm the mrs and take her to mcdonalds drive though this year and get some lagers for me and of course a fruit based drink for the lady

I think its pathetic and sad that supermarkets do this, isnt their money grabbing gone to far,i wouldnt dream of buying any of these deals on valentines on general principle, they interfere and stick their noses in everywhere, they should be restricted by government legislation on these manipulating deals, putting local restaurants noses out of joint, it is going to far.

Restricted by government legislation on selling food? Would these be the same restaurants that double their prices on valentines day? Perhaps the shops should be banned from selling the raw ingredients as well to force us into the restaurants? What happens if your local restaurant is fully booked? Don't think you've thought this one through...

I'd rather cook my own meal for my husband, ready meals are full of crap and for lazy people!

well I am lazy and I am off to M&S cos I love Beef Wellington!

Isn't everything about Valetines Day a rip off? Against each items RPP these are a good price.

Its valentines...slam in the lamb

Why does M&S put their prices up just because its Valentine's Day...

As always MS comes first then Waitrose (in terms of what you get for the money and quality).
It always makes me laugh when Sainsbury's and Asda offer less on the two for £10 deals then the expensive M&S and Waitrose.

Any dates on when these start or have they already begun?

Weird how when they are posted individually they are mostly received negatively, but when they are posted together, suddenly they are super hot.

Thanks for going to the effort to list it all here, i'm renting out a cottage for Valentines and this will make the food side of things a little easier (don't know how kitted out the kitchen is really)

Heat added. M & S it is!

Nonsense.

Learn the difference between to and too!!

£10 is cheap to share with your loved one................................................make sure your OH doesn't find out though.

we had the Morrison's one, it was actually really good value as the wine is £7.50 normally. Didn't taste like a ready meal at all.

Welcome to 'heat for effort'

Cheaper to eat out??? Where are you going then, McDonald's?! I'd like to know where you can have 3 courses and a bottle of wine for £20!! Good post and lovely meals, we often do the m&s dine in offer and they are very nice, real quality food. We have a young baby and wont be going out for dinner on Thursday. This is the next best thing. Baby in bed, film, m&s meal and a bottle on wine...lush.

Haha... are you a bit slow today?

Her point was quite clear in her post. Read it again and hopefully it will become clear for you. In fact she made 2 points, see if you can spot them and win a prize!

Voted hot! great leg work OP
got the M&S selection today (no Coquilles St Jacque left - the power of advertising eh!!)
though the Morrisons "Shepare's Pie" on the list did intrigue me!!

What i am saying in principal is that supermarkets are becoming to aggressive and manipulative, and now we find out that in their quest for cheaper and cheaper sourced ingredients they are indirectly selling us horsemeat dressed up as beef, this is happening because of price wars on products between them, they are forcing food producers to cut corners.

And as for this Valentines deal i think its sick and twisted,we are all getting herded like sheep,i will buy and eat what i want on valentines.

What most people forget is alot of these places you 'eat out at' actually serve you stuff from the microwave as well!

If you actually read up on the news its not actually the supermarkets fault that horsemeat got into the foods and is actually their third party processing facilities. I think the biggest thing that has come from this story is how long the chain is from the cow/horse to the store. Romanian Farm - Romanian Abattoir - Polish processing plant - Irish factury - Tesco Distribution Centre - Store.
