Ok, I do hope this package is well received. It's Valentines Day in a couple of days, and like always (and I imagine many others) I've kind of left it to the last minute.

So, I've been looking around to find the best (and cheapest), but yet romantic package available. (She deserves the best)

For just £28.50pp you can whisk your better half off down to Preston for a romantic one night stay in a Travelodge hotel (check in from 3pm). Fortunately, KFC are trialling table service for Valentine’s Day at their Fishergate branch, (winner, winner). As many of you are aware, KFC are also currently offering a Take Five menu where for just £3pp you can grab a delicious 5 item meal including 3 chicken items! (Talk about value for money!)

Where does the Prosecco & a dozen red roses come in? Good question. You will have to use some forward thinking for this part. The Prosecco is currently available for £5 from Morrisons and you can obtain your roses from a number of places (Aldi) for just £3.

Just to add. I have ticked the option on the Travelodge website for them to make up a pull out bed (just incase anything goes wrong).

Brilliant!
I'd definitely go for the mini fillets at KFC, I could then tell all my mates I got to touch some breast on valentines day

...I'll close the door behind me on the way out

That is all.

For any lads reading that are inexperienced in the mysterious ways of women. Don't expect her to be impressed by a KFC in Preston, but if she is, you are well in.

The KFC in Preston was the first KFC opened in the UK. It was opened by a guy called Ray Allen who then went on to found "Allens Fried chicken" #interestingfact

But...

"Not only was Fishergate the first branch of KFC to open in the UK – it has also played a key part in the love story of Bob and Pat Fogg, who’ve been married over 50 years. Bob and Pat met over a bucket of Colonel Sanders’ finest in 1965 and have enjoyed a date night at the restaurant every week since."
Allen's fried chicken is really crap.

Source: I had it once
Does the choose 5 include BBQ beans as they are the wifes favourites. I might skip the rose as it seems a bit over the top.
This is the epitome of romance. It really is. Hot deal!
winner winner chicken dinner!
comedy gold... genius
KFC hating fools with their "GM", " KFC Australia lung pics" and "yuck so unhealthy even though I eat at Nandos paying premium for the same chicken reared at Moy Park" in 3... 2.... 1....

(P.S. to p*ss them off even further, I'll state that KFC chicken is a great option for people with Crohns/Colitis or IBD, the chicken is not spicy and plenty of flavour, cooked using palm or rapeseed oil (depends on the KFC) which is not too taxing on the gut compared to using sunflower or vegetable oil, and has a (obviously) high calorific value. And before any wannabe "health expert" tries to counter, I got Crohns/IBD and I don't eat greens, spices, red meat or potatoes because if I did, literally "sh*t happens")

I wonder what they do the remaining 6 nights of each week? Go Dogging?

Depends if you want the Prosecco and roses, if not then £46.
Ask KFC to move the table outside (shouldn’t be a problem their customer service is legendary) and you can eat Al fresco. Who knows you could be serenaded by a passing tramp. Shared memories are what make a relationship/evidence in court.

I wondered what happened to Cannon and Ball
Don't forget the 20% discount if you just pick up a dirty receipt from other tables. A saving of £1.20.

Classy lol
This looks like the sort of Valentines treat Adam Johnson would serve up.
OP your talents are wasted with your eye for detail, have you ever considered being a wedding planer?

Dude, if you're going to go with the rather unimaginative "queue xxxxx in" meme then try and be a bit quicker. If the posts already been around a couple of hours and that group aren't already posting it just makes you look the desperate one who is looking for any excuse to post the same old repeated message.
From my experience of the small KFC in Preston they don't even clear the **** off tables when (lazy chav) people leave, so I'm very dubious that they will bring food to them !

Oh and be careful as you walk out, they've converted the pavement/road into some weird shared car/pedestrian/bus free-for-all

A shared near death experience should guarantee a happy ending to the night, job done Casanova would be proud.
