I was looking for a set of hair clippers and found these in Argos. They're not on Special offer, but the price for them is very good even if you need a spare set

An alternative may be these from Currys at £5.99 (or 99p if you have a giveaway voucher)

these are awful, i bought for hubby but they kept cutting out! his hair is thick but not that thick!

Cheap hair clippers aren't any good, even for occasional use. Invest in a good Wahl pro.

You can get a basic Wahl set for a couple of quid more and it's much much better and will last.

No, the very basic WAHL gear is just as bad. they stutter, grab and do a poor job too.

I am afraid you need to buy their better range of stuff, (I suggest WAHL Super Taper Pro for most general use) with the benefit it will then probably last you out, although a lot more expensive!.
Like a breath of fresh air.

That's why.
Mine's thin now too, but try using them on a 20 year old with a dense head of hair, and it's like a plucking rather than a cropping!
