Product Description
Impressionist Art Poster: Painted in 1890, Vincent Van Gogh created the stunning 'Almond Blossom' image as a gift for his younger brother Theo, whose wife had just given birth to their first child, a son named Vincent Willem. Featuring a beautiful blue sky and a maze of branches littered with delicate, pale flowers, the painting was quite distinct from the artist's previous works and is thought to have been influenced by Japanese art he had seen for the first time while in Paris.

It's really nice isn't it

One of my favourite Van Gogh paintings. Bought a print of it after seeing the original at the Van Gogh museum... paid a bit more for it too!

This and Starry Night? It's what I went for Now all we need is a hot frame deal ...

Just saw Starry Night at MOMA over Christmas, what I loved was the literal depth of the painting, each brushstroke is a three dimensional 'blob' that melds together to create the painting. Unfortunately that's the main thing that you miss with a print.

Please excuse the wine-sodden art-w*nkery... back to the deals!
