I've never tried an inflatable tent - which do you have, and in your opinion, how much more does it offer over this tent in the op?

But the reviews all state only the sleeping area is sewn in, living area is linked

I've had poled version on offer and now got the inflatable version now, poled tents are lighter/smaller packed and easier to clean and hang over washing line to dry out easier. Inflatable tents are a quicker to erect/pull down they are very sturdy and been reliable so far, inflating with a manual pump is harder work than i thought so elec pump might be way ahead but they cost £45+ i'm sticking with my inflatable now but I think poled tents are better all round if price is a big factor.
I bought this tent last year thinking it was the inflatable version, but Amazon had wrong pictures/description. Ended up using it for a week away because didn’t have time to send back and get the replacement, and promptly sent it back to Amazon after our holiday due to a few niggles!

Quality was pretty good, but nowhere near as well made as my previous outwell tent.

Porch was not great in the heavy rain as not quite wide enough to really keep rain out and have door open for ventilation.

Poles felt a bit flimsy, although tent held up fine in some pretty heavy wind and rain!

Did not have a sewn in groundsheet in the living area which wasn’t too bad, but i definitely preferred my old fully sewn in tent.

Overall not a bad tent for the price, but I ended up spending about £250 and picked up another outwell in the sales and much happier with it.

I did read the description thank you, and I don’t believe I actually asked you a question. The description differs some say fully sewn in others say only sewn in where the bedrooms are. Hence the reason I asked someone who actually has the same tent.

Not the same tent. This has a fully seen in ground sheet throughout
I have this tent and it’s amazing for this money. I paid £200 last year. Not as dark as I would have liked in the bedrooms though

scrap that... just realised I got the calder tent... looks the same though?

I would also advise picking up a footprint for this for around £20. Will stop the bottom of the tent getting dirty
Good tent, but so glad I purchased a kalahri 10 years ago.
£140.01 now. Hot!
Vango website states groundsheet is linked in - Amazon state sewn-in. I suspect Vango site is more reliable....

yeah I now remember why I bought the vango calder over this one... linked groundsheet in this compared to the sewn in on the calder

Doesn't this mean the groundsheets are all sewn in? :
  • Factory taped seams - All flysheet and groundsheet seams are factory taped, giving a water tight seal

*Edit*

My mistake, I thought it wasn't a clear description which was why I was questioning it but actually (despite reading it all?!) states:
  • Linked-in groundsheet - Easy to clean groundsheet that can be attached or detached from the living area. Simply roll under the bedroom area when not required.

yeah all depends on what your after... better airflow and condensations control, and detachable and easy to clean, or that warm feel with no creepy crawlies
I got the inflatable one for £167 on amazon just after xmas. Still havent opened it but as it's over £400 now I might sell it & get this one instead.

No sorry I was mistaken, I thought I had edited my comment. I remembered I had bought a Calder instead and the reason for that was the ground sheet being seen in
