Hi all,

This is the cheapest ANYWHERE for this rucksack. I have recieved mine yesterday (ordered two) and am very impressed. The version supplied by decathlon is the most up-to-date version from last season and upon inspection is identical (other than colour) to the current 'nanga' model which is top of the range for Vango (This was the top but they have renamed for 2014 it seems).

The RRP is around £120 for this sack, Go Outdoors have it at second cheapest for £67, and everywhere else seems to be £80-100.

IMO the materials are good and the pack seems well made, with an adjustable back and alloy/carbon frame. It can be loaded laying down like a suitcase too which is good and has a built in luminous orange rain cover. First impressions are very good and correctly loaded and adjusted it seems very comfortable.

DONT confuse this with their other sacks as this one is predominently nylon and has the A3 back system which the others do not.

Overall I think its the cheapest sack of this spec you can get for the money (other than some no name offerings), and whats more its DoE recommended for anyone looking for a sack for the DoE (Duke of Edinburgh)

SPEC:

The Vango Pumori 60+10 Rucksack is a robust and fully featured pack that uses their innovative A3 back system for optional load transfer & carrying comfort.

Lime Green? Is that not the contour? (Pumori was never offered in green? - apologies if I am wrong)

They do look very similar, especially the black/grey version... but the contour is made of 600d polyester and has a different back system / frame etc...

The cheapest online I could find the contour was £43.99 - however for £6 more this is a miles better rucksack than the contour!

£5 for a discount card so it works out the same unless you're already a card holder.
