Got this tent in May and have used it twice. However it had already torn and zip has broken on main door.Seems very flimsy and not able to withstand anything but fragile use. It was on offer for £49.99 so decided to give it a try.

has this got tbs 2 system built in? like the beta450 xl

Bit wary of these cheaper Vango tents. People I know who have bought them have not been impressed.

HH of 3,000 - its a very good price for this

BE aware that a carrier bag has a HH rating of more than 3,000!

Is this the same of the Beta? If so then this is an excellent price. Can't go wrong with Vango, good find.

Be aware both vango and outwell have a budget and premium range. Quality varies greatly!!

for sixty quid this a top brand tent at a ridiculous cheap price.
in not expecting their bells and whistles, but you can't go wrong at this low price

Thought too good to be true

Had a Vango Venture 500 tent, lasted a few years with no heavy handed use, one of the entrance zips has broke, but the most ridiculous thing about it and something I queried Vango about was the integral ground sheet.

The integral groundsheet instead of being one solid sheet of nylon along the ground and then stiched to the polyster of the tent along the sides stupidly had a great big stitch line right in the middle of it..naturally even with using an additional groundsheet..any heavy downpours of rain where water can pool it seeped through the stitching.

Vango stated it was not a design fault and just suggested using seam sealant. Since then we have a much better Gelert tent which is of no surprise does not come with such a design flaw.

Maybe Vango do not use this design on newer/other models, but certainly check it out before parting your cash.

Well from our experience compared to the Venture 500, the Lakesbury 5 by Gelert is vastly superior. There again the RRP of the Venture 500 was £130, the Lakesbury 5 was £375 (although we got it for £80 Makro clearance) and yes Gelert tents do get very good reviews if you check out camping forums.

That may be set to change now sadly Mike Ashley has bought them out.

So at this price, you would not recommend?

I have been camping for 30 odd years and bought this last year online. Never have I come across such a poor quality tent. It's zip broke on first use and is very flimsy. I would not recommend this as it seems to be Vango's lower end quality of tent. Go for a Coleman which by comparison is way better.

it's a £60 tent...if you want to spend Small amount of money on a tent...You can't get better than this on terms of brand and size.
feel free to post your deals if you think I'm wrong

Go outdoors have a great 4 man tent with sewn in ground sheet that I can stand up in (I'm 6ft 2) for £99.99 rather pay the extra for quality build

Vango tent for £60! Heat added.

hammock and tarpaulin. Done. God damn sissy

That picture is for the Vango 350?

I have a twenty or so year old Vango 2 man tent, and I wouldn't swap it for most current equivalents.

I hate to think this one might not measure up to expectations (based on some of the other comments), but for the price this is definitely a hot deal.

I'm almost tempted even though I'm not in need of a 4 man.

75 not 60!
