I've never heard of this brand, but seems to get extremely poor reviews: uk.trustpilot.com/rev….uk

    Think i'll avoid.

I own a black pair of these. Bought for a hiking holiday in Dartmoor and they have been the most comfortable boot I've ever owned. I now wear them daily and walk several miles per day.

The thinsulate is very warm and for the first 50-60 miles it felt like walking on clouds, they were so comfortable. Now they've been properly worn that 'cloud' feel has gone but still a very comfortable shoe.

I paid £120 for mine and I'd definitely pay £120 again. Note: these MTE-3s are completely different in build and quality to your average pair of Vans, they aren't comparable. Good buy at £78 imo.

How do they fit? I have wide fit so fairly limited

Don’t do it. I’d been debating buying these for a while (different colour and similar price) but they’re awful. Look at reviews, they fall apart quickly.

For every 10 reviews there's one about falling apart.
Sometimes I do also wonder where people go with these, each shoe/boot has been designed for a particular terrain or environment and when people add comments but no pictures of their broken shoes I get suspicious

This has thinsulate. That plus goretex would make this a very warm shoe. Good deal, though haven't used vans for hiking...

Vans are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. Would hate to go hiking in any footwear made by them!

What Vans have you worn? They've introduced new cushioning tech in recent years which is much nicer than, for example, a Sk8 Hi from 10 years ago

Usually if you have normal feet vans are incredibly comfortable. Anything abnormal however, they don’t be for you

Gets all the way through to checkout, then says no stock. Eventually got a pair. They were very tight in my normal size especially the front of the boot which came to a very narrow point. Returned and refunded. (edited)

I thought that but i think there may be a problem with the scrolling on the size part. I eventually got it to work by leaving and they put a popup up and then i could select just about any size apart from about 1.

On the site there's a question section to check your sizing and it makes recommendations. Has anyone got them cheaper than £70.20? Realised I didn't do the newsletter sign-up so wondered if that took another 10% off (edited)

Love the look of these. But Vans don’t have a good track record for comfort and stability. I have overpronation, I assume these won’t be useful for me?

I tried to post about these a few days back(kept getting an error message in the link!), mine arrived yesterday. They are absolutely solid and will be a great pair of boots to anyone.

I have always worn their trainers so this is a no brainer, the last pair I had called 3D Vans were like walking on clouds, so hopefully these might be similar

Did I need three different pairs of Vans? No, maybe one. Did I buy three pairs that are on sale and look comfy? Yes.. Read a lot of reviews also, hopefully they're super comfy as reviews say!

Get to pay then just says stock availability doesn't cover your request. Probably the most laggy and poorly designed site I've ever used painful (edited)

It looks like they’ve restocked these as yesterday there were no 11s in stock in brown or grey but today they’re both there. Needed some new walking boots so I’ll give these a go, worth a try at this price, thanks OP!

Mine have arrived and they definitely come up small so go a size bigger than normal. They seem comfy and look great but I need to do a long walk to be able to tell as am a little concerned I'm not able to move toes much.
