8 Strangers, 8 Points of view... 1 Truth.

Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) are two Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Ashton (William Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror. When President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Spain, chaos ensues and disparate lives collide. In the crowd is Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), an American tourist videotaping the historic event to show his kids when he returns home. Also there is Rex (Sigourney Weaver), an American TV news producer who is reporting on the conference. It's only as we follow each person's perspective of the same 15 minutes prior to and immediately after the shooting that the terrifying truth behind the assassination attempt is revealed.

Not a great film. Nice idea, but badly executed. It's cheap though, so worth a look.

+1. Interesting idea that quickly runs out of steam, and the story has to be resolved with a coincidence, which is kinda lame.

I thought it was a quality film, good price.

H+R Added.

Same price in tescos if you can find it in there.

Very repetative film. Average at best. Price seems about right.

Was a great idea for a movie but didn't really work. Save your pennies and buy something good instead!

Awful film. It's what 24 would be if written by an ADHD kid.

I didn't really rate this either to be honest, its worth a watch though at this price.

This film is like Marmite, you'll either love it or hate it. I personally thought it was excellent.

It does not follow the typical A-B timeline, instead it repeats an event showing it from different points of view, each time you see a little more of the event which reveals a much bigger plot. I thought it was a tense, interesting and extremly entertaining film.

good concept, poor ending to the film, not edge of you seat stuff, cheapo price though

Wanted to like it, but the repetitve scenes just got annoying after the 3rd time through. But a good price for it anyway.

Good tense film,
but the car chase killed it for me, how does a car that was dented and battered, suddenly become like brand new again.

But Rashomon back in 1950 is the same idea, just much, much better...
