Great value. Love tulips. Pity there's absolutely no point in me buying any. I am fed up of providing lunch for the blooming squirrels!
A word of warning, there store stock level system is unreliable, so be prepared for a wild goose chase

Cover with wire until them come through or lay off cuts of holly on the soil.

Tis a bit late in the season for bulb planting, so not really surprising!

actually beginning of december is perfect time for bulbs particularly daffodils and narcisuss ,tulips can even be planted in january and with all the rain water logging the soil and saturating tubs alot of bulbs planted earlier will have struggled to survive, putting mine in this week what I got from wilkos with 75% off.

Sorry have to disagree. These days daffodils often flower from January onwards. Yes, it has been very wet recently but that won't have harmed the bulbs that should be a good 4" down in the soil. Tulips can go in slightly later, but not when frosty and given the weather forecast for the next few days. Bulbs often don't flower in the second and subsequent years because it has been too dry so it will be interesting to see what happens this spring.

Edit: Plus a lot will already be sprouting in their bags/packets.

Well, I will try that because I think I may just have a few dark purple ones left! I've got holly too! Thanks for that!
