Just been into the Newton Aycliffe Tesco Extra where they have several major brand bluetooth headsets for just under £5.
I picked up a Sony Ericsson HBH-PV702 and a Nokia BH-303 for £4.97 each.
They had Motorola and own brand sets too, all the same price.

They are amongst the regular display of handsets and headsets.

Got an own brand bluetooth dongle for 97p too down from £10, ideal as a spare for the laptop case.

I expect this is instore only and they will fly out of the door.

Do the sony erricson use aaa batteries, or are they rechargable?

Ill have to see if i can get myself one, bargain.

Not found in my local Tesco extra (Yeading)

They are rechargeable, the battery is non-replaceable.
The charger is supplied and plugs into a regular home socket.

The Nokia is rechargeable too.

I have looked at the own brand models in the past that were only a fiver and these were only chargeable in a car socket which i felt was a bit pointless.

Sorry for it being slightly unrelated....but does anyone know of a bluetooth headset that works with the iPhone??

 Not found in my local Tesco (Leeds)

Most SE headsets (including the HBH-PV702) are either charged by the supplied AC adaptor OR you can charge them via an AC charger that has a fast port connector that you use to charge your phone with. (Like the one that comes with the K800i)

I've just bought a car/usb fastport charger from play.com for £3.99. I'll post in due course if this works with the SE headset.

According to PLAY.COM they do, but I haven't tried it myself yet.

Just an update: This play.com USB charger works well. It will charge the phone or the SE bluetooth headsets via USB or the car adapter supplied.

In the Alloa store they have the SE and Nokia headets marked up as £4.97 reduced to clear but out of stock.

Own brand one is still marked at £9.97 - I shouldve checked what it scans at.
