The Inspiron m101z's with the dual-core Athlon II chips usually retail for £425 to £499 on Dell's site. Please note, the price posted is approximate, it'll depend on the deal you get, the £230 figure given is somewhere in the middle.

This model has been highly rated on review sites such as TR: trustedreviews.com/lap…/p1

Today I got the top model (usually £499) for just under £260 with voucher: 2BDMDNDQDVHX2Q

There are several still there. Delivery is just under £20. Don't forget to use the voucher to bring down the price further!

Specs note: The difference between the two dual-core models are the cheaper one has 2GB of DDR3 with 250GB 5400rpm HDD, whereas the expensive one has 4GB DDR3 with 320GB 7200rpm HDD. The K325 processor's approximate equivalent speed-wise is the Intel ULV Pentium dual-core 1.4Ghz as seen in the review link above. As an added extra, this comes with an AMD southbridge which include graphics faster than the x4500mhd usually found in Intel C2D notebooks of this size.

Sorry, I didn't mention, the voucher brings down the price by £30. Credit to the previous Dell laptop listing here by daverichards.

Dell say 6hr battery life, but reviews put it at 4-5hrs with normal usage.

EDIT: To confirm to those above, go to the dell outlet using link above. Click 'Choose laptops' then 'Refurbished Home Laptops' then 'Start shopping now' to show all home laptops. Then sort by price, and they should be on page 1 or 2.

can't find it

I'm seeing two left now. They're named 'Inspiron 1120' not m101z as on the retail side.

Ah, wunderbar
Well done.

yep 2 there 2gb but not much detail about specs

All the 4gb's are sold out - but heat added for a working voucher code!

Am I right in thinking these are refurbished

Worth pointing out the money off voucher expires end of this month....

Yes but they still come with the standard Dell warranty.

I actually contacted the boys at the Dell outlet to say their Inspiron 1120 listings weren't working - on the Saturday/Sunday I couldn't add them to my basket. Thought I'd share the love and savings here as I like this community. My second deal posted.

Yes, they have a standard 12 month warranty. That'll be three laptops I've bought from the outlet now for friends and family. What a beaut, a 1080p video shiftin', HDMI packin' 11-inch media machine for a great chunk off retail price.

Shame as there was free delivery when they were first put up; as low as £195 at that stage but this is better as you can actually buy one now.

Yes, a crying shame! They didn't reply to my email until the monday though.

It may not be a thing of beauty, but I've just got myself a new lappy for £237 delivered, so I'm happy.

@ sabz786

I think tracking info is released upon dispatch. My order acknowledgement email simply gave my address and said 'Please check your e-mail regularly for up to date information about your order.'

The acknowledgement came through a good quarter of an hour after I ordered.

oh ok, did you say what was the system color was ? bit worried Ill get a pink one or something!

What is the returns policy for these?

Yes, mine said 'Obsidian Black IMR No Pattern' in the specs list.

EDIT: I've found the Dell outlet's info on machines to be patchy sometimes. I would be more inclined to say that colour wasn't mentioned because it was the regular black option, not because it was left off by accident. But I'm no fortune teller.

cant find the deal now.
the direct links dont work.
pity as great deal IMO

****, that mean mines bound to be awful? Whats the returns policy?

gherkingHUD

My previous outlet laptop came with a stickered box that was resealable, with a address sticker for returns, so I think the return should be free. Remember you're protected by EU distance selling laws.

Still some available

anyone know if nothing is listed for color = usually mean something awful?

Dont forget cashback , it does track on the Outlet

thanks OP
