Everyone in Liverpool (myself included) thought that was what it was called until about a year ago when they had media letters and Facebook posts about us calling it that

Originally I seem to recall there was a small chain in the northwest called home and bargain, there was one on Albert road in Widnes. I've no idea if this was reinvented...

Clue is in the name " POUND land" Hmmm I wonder if they sell ANYTHING for over a pound?

Great Christmas tree decorations.

poundworld do (or did. Haven't been in there for a good 18 months since we got a poundland :D)

These look nice on top of xmas presents. Thanks.

Yum

Shall be popping in shortly, good price.

Idea for you crafters...put 2 on a baking tray to make heart shape. Put in hot oven 2/3 mins till fused tog. Place lolly or cake pop stick in between and leave to cool. When set pour in melted choc in heart shape and decorate, voila...little sweet lollies. Great for kids to give as pressies.

Thankings

Home bargains are selling a pack of 14 for 79p

Yeah, when they started locally early 90's ish the original name was Home & Bargain. They rebranded when they went nationwide.

Old habits die hard...

Gutted as I just ordered a mini pk of 24 for £2.50 from Ebay!! Going to get a pack of these as well. Thanks OP.

Yay a flamedeer!
