There were a few more, but that's all I could remember, and from the pictures I took (got some strange looks!)
Should be in all stores, as Summer has finished in retail, and they'll need space for Christmas stock!

I've bought quite a few sets from B&M, some have lasted years, others a year, so a few tips..
Some may have been in stock for while, so won't have much charge, so leave switched off for a couple of sunny days to fully charge initially, or as I do, remove and charge in a charger.
Most lights will have 600mAh AA, or 300mAh AAA, so you could upgrade, which once charged will keep the light running, even if you have a few days without sunshine to give much of a charge.
On the multilight sets, the seperate larger solar panel has a tendency to cloud over after months in the weather, so becoming inefficient even on a sunny day.Just clean the panel with something like Astonish (which is great for cleaning UPVC btw, as well as BarBQ grills, hobs etc), then polish.
Those cheap stake lights usually stop working due to water getting in and corroding the battery terminals or switch, so just put a fine bead of silicone around the panel, or tape over the panel with clear weather proof 'sellotape'.
I re-purpose old solar panels from the multilight sets, by soldering the panels to power a couple of £ shop battery LED sets., until they eventually corrode.
I loce solar lights, they don't give masses of light, but enough to see where you're going, and decorative, all just from the power of the sun.

Heat for the effort.

Well done,learnt a tip there.

Heat added. Having said that, I get my solar lights exclusively from Aldi these days due to the 3 year warranty. Very few solar garden lights last 3 years IME so effectively, as long as you keep your receipt in a safe place, Aldi are giving you free useage for up to 3 years lol.

I bought a set recently and was surpised how bright they are!! Definitely silicone the solar panel/battery cover as they dont look very waterproof!!

I bought some of these last week the 9 pack solar lanterns & blue string light sets they last all night will have to wait and see about winter

During the winter, obviously with shorter daylight hours, they won't get a full charge, which after a time can stop the battery working. To keep the battery conditioned, simply leave the light / panel switched every once in a while for a few days, to enable the battery to get a full charge.Even better, but not always possible, remove the batteries and give a full charge indoors (not fast charge).I've got about 40 odd solar lights / sets, so just thought I'd share what I've done to keep them all going over the years, so hopefully will help.

i bought a set and these have been great this summer. thanks fornthe great advice though...giving the silicone beading a try this year

See, this is the sort of post people should aspire to - well done!

Heat for the deal and advice I've modded mine with silicone sealant and duracell rechargeables which thus far has worked out ok.

Thank you everyone, I'm glad the tips proved useful, makes it all worthwhile.

Heat for the avatar!

Brilliant .... I had been hanging off buying these, i'm glad I did. Thanks

My friend has 3 - off of the 50 light sets and 1 - off the ladybird sets and all have failed over a four month period.
You definitely get what you pay for.
