I have owned my current VXR since 2010 from new and with just 32k on the clock a 5k deal works for me.

Based on deals posted historically on here for this car this could go hot or cold but looks good value next to the Polo GTI lease deal.

This car does 0-60 is under 7 seconds has a really nice exterior and as it's a 3 year lease then there is no worries around faults as they would be covered under warranty.

Includes metallic paint as well and all fees are included also. Has the usual features such as recaro seats, Air Con, abs, etc, etc.

I really like my VXR but it's getting a bit tired after 5 years of going to an airport once a week but would have no hesitation in replacing it with this deal. I was going to hold off for a Polo GTI deal but this might do it for me.

what's the point in having a vxr and being limited to 5k miles? seems a bit daft to me
Don't see the sense in it? £169 for 5000 miles. Would be a decent deal if it was 8000 - 10000 miles.

Sooner have a polo GTI than a corsa VXR

No good looking at this thread then.

Personal preference then, but due to the mileage I can envisage those that buy this will spend more time cleaning their car than driving it.

Not necessarily. Maybe the airport trip was to drag race it, in which case it makes sense! X)

Perfect deal for you as it's only 3 years.

TBH I think it's mostly tired due to the lack of use. only gets the long run now and again which helps to clean it out.

There not bad cars really, went on a vx power event at Oulton park a few years ago, quite nice to drive with plenty of grunt.

and got a high speed lap (well fairly high ) with this chap https://www.facebook.com/jonathanadamracing/

was quite entertaining...
I bought an ex demonstrator Corsa VXR almost three years ago and the depreciation has been terrible. It has now done 12,000 miles and initially seemed pretty slow. Bigger injectors and a stage 2 remap sorted this out. Unfortunately, this is not feasible with lease cars although the price on this deal is good IMHO when compared to the depreciation.

VXR power event ex-demo?
Did the insurance cost much more with the upgrades?
