I bought 3kw glass kettle for similar price. This one is only 2kw so will take longer for water to boil.

Correct!

I don't give a damn what a kettle looks like as long as it works and lasts 3 years minimum.

Suppose I am not fussed about looks.

I do, if its out in my kitchen where I can see it, it has to look good and match the rest if my gadgets.

What do you consider a good looking one then?

We are all different. I choose function over form every time. To me a kettle is a kettle.

Well my last kettle purchase was bought to match our off white rustic looking goods in the kitchen, I.E our microwave, our coffee maker our tea, coffee and sugar holders.
I find this grey one ugly, however it may be better looking in black or cream or whatever.

This is mine, which I like, but someone else including yourself may not.

So the one in this post is not ugly. Its just not to your taste or color scheme.

Like I say humans are strange creatures who put looks and status above everything else. Well at least in rich Western society.

How do you get it for that price? It's coming up at £29.99 for me
Sorry, another vote for ugly here

No no no, that's way too cool for my kitchen
another odd hot deal by for a non brand really does make you wonder.

You can get a kettle around this price with better spec as mentioned above, Argos have the breville 3KW for £1.50 more yet this one is hot from a company we never heard of, maybe instead of the mods having that called out under their names we should have sponsered deal instead
I like the appearance - but cold - 2kw is too slow for a kettle

I like this kettle Shame tho it's got a pull off lid. However I now look for kettle's that one can set to different "boil" temperatures.
