going to pop up there in the morning after work, these any good?

Seen some in Smallheath branch. I was going get one but just wanted to know if it was any good.

Have had an older (bulkier and more expensive) model of this for a few years now with no problems. Seems like a good deal.

I bought one of these last week from Asda Norwich for £30. They still have some stock, as say them today

btw they had about 3 on the shelves when I was there.

looked at title quickly and thought it said vauxhall astra hoover! Off to specsavers!

It's not a hoover, it's a vacuum!

ASDA Walsgrave (Coventry) had them (reduced from a full price of £55 I believe) - good timing as my £200 Dyson DC08 blew itself up at the weekend. Can't moan too much as it lasted 8 years. Any way to recycle or refurb a dyson?

Wife has test drove the VAX today and the reports coming back are all good.

Also 2 year warranty via online registration form

Mine packed in a couple of years back - Got a replacement motor from Dyson for £19, a bit of tinkering and a clean and its still going strong now! Pretty straightforward to fit - About an hour in all!

Can someone edit the title as it is misleading.

jphnboy_1975 when i recently received a second hand dyson i used a company called e-spares.co.uk found them really useful for all dyson products and cheaper than the dyson website itself hope this helps good deal on the vaccum as well arckitekture

Saw these in Chelmsley wood today

excellent hoover for the price, even cheap enough for a car hoover to store in the garage. £35 well spent this year and two year gaurantee. asda warrington westbrook had a few left today

Alan Partridge would hate this thread.

Dyson do a fixed price repair. They will change any number of parts & service it & warranty it for £69 including new filters etc.

Had mine done & £150 in parts used including a new motor, fantastic value & service

I dont understand why you wouldnt buy an upright. These types are a pain I find, you have to scrub the wand up and down and without a rotary brush they dont clean aswell. Then you hvae to pack it away with the big hose dangling about. I dont get it atall.

It's not a Hoover, it's a VAX!

Hoover is widely used to mean a vacuum. It's something that is just understood. I say hoover all the time, even though I know hoover is just a company name.
