Great deal, saved me £80-100

Is it any good? Why is it 50%?
My original Vax 32v overall is easily better then my comparible Dyson we bought right after thinking it would be an upgrade. Left the Dyson in the garage for car cleaning and use the Vax inside multiple times a day (large family with a dog).

'easily better'?
If you mean cleaning, no (Dyson has better suction, motor and specific brushes for surfaces)
If you mean picking up allergens, no (Dyson has hepa filters, decent pre and post filters, easily washable etc).

If you mean price, sure.
Runtime, sure.
Vax v2 does have the led light which makes it useful to actually see dirt.

Do you have personal experience, of using these vacuum cleaners side by side, like umirza85 has?

I have a vax 1 32v tbh not that great imo not muck sook

It's 50% off because it's a damaged box and, we're still in the January Sales. No idea if it's any good. We've had one relevant personal experience of it's functionality, all the others seem to be trolling.
I have the original 32v one and it was good to start with. But the filter is rubbish, have to clean after every use or the foam part just blocks up and sucking up is shocking. Ideally need to toolkit to go with it.

Unfortunately, yes. I also bought the shark one on here recently for £100 odd. Though heavier, think that has some grunt behind it, only used it twice, I can't really comment all that much. Also have some gtech rams v3 k9s? at the inlaws, that's like half a shark cordless.

I find it surprising you come back at me when the other person was about garage's, family and dogs and with 2 descriptive words of the vacuum.

FWIW, if you dont mind the weight (extra 1-2kg) I'd lean towards the shark which is on here that's pink at £120 atm.

Well if you had explained yourself better in the first place, I wouldn't have had to ask the question. And it was only a question.
You've spent some money there, on cordless vacuum cleaners.
I have this, and the suction on the low setting is pretty good for a quick clean up but switch it on to full blast with motor brush and (if you can do it all in 20 mins) you can get decent results.

Things I dont like about it
Its a little heavy
The dock is not very well designed (you still have to plug in the charger)
Only basic tools included.

I have a combination of hard floors, rugs and carpets with pets. Overall I am happy with the it and since having it for 2 weeks I haven't used my main vacuum (not a dyson)

I would recommend it especially at this price, top bargain IMO

Why is 50% {49} off?
Because they look it from rrp price, which is £199.96 but not from main retailers sale it for £150-180, no 1 get closer to rrp price, simply because rrp price is "BS" figures taken from the "SKY" by marketing department. Be realistic and think twice: does it worth it what seller asking for? If yes, go ahead (also read reviews) for it, if not then go away (whatever reviews said) from it.
I just got one thanks OP I've been waiting for one of these to come up

Do Vax still have the 6-year warranty?

Only ask as I had a Vax that went through five replacements during its warranty period. They have a habit of the brush bar motors dying, which then necessitate a replacement part costing the price of a new one. Their customer service is pretty lame too.

I've just had an email to say it's got a 3 year guarantee
Seems a good deal and far far better value for money than the lifestyle dyson brand.

What Dyson are you comparing it to ?

how did u get the guarantee?
The reason its cheaper is because its 32 Volts.I have purchased two of the Vax Max 2 40 Volts ones just before Christmas and they are amazing.Ironically they are testing the Vax 3 now.
dantoe1212/01/2020 10:19

I got an email from vax saying my order will be on its way soon and it has been registered and the guarantee will run out on 15/01/2023
It was all automatic
cool cheers
I'm just looking for something to clean up after my baby when she lobs three courses onto my beloved carpet. This'll do at this price point.

I have the blade 1 and 2, the 2 is surprisingly better than the 1. Also, the 2s filter does not block anywhere near as quickly, both 32v.
Ps. The damaged box is a way of selling them cheap and not upset retailers too much!

Picked one up, than you op.
After seeing this deal, I've just bought the Vax Blade 2 Max 40V from eBay for £120, brand new, box damaged. Bargain! Cheers OP! 🔥

Not sure about damaged box but it's clear stated that they are seller of refurbished items. But saying so, still ordered one. On confirmation email it's stated as a new.
The same company selling refurbished ones (as its stated) for £10 cheaper.

I'd say so, yes.
My sister bought this one on black Friday, and it's very good. It picks up very well, has a decent run time compared to most other cordless vacuums, charges at a decent rate too. Only downside is she said it's slightly heavier than she anticipated, but that hopefully won't be an issue for me.
Hope this helps!

Not as good as it used to be but better than not. Although I suppose it reflects decreased confidence in their own products. It must have cost them a fortune replacing mine so many times (with the current equivalent model each time!).
That’s a steal! I bought one “opened/damaged box” before Xmas, and it arrived as brand new no damage and box in perfect condition. It’s a great little vacuum for a very good price! Just make sure to take care of it (clean it etc) and it’ll take care of you.

Wait, you question me to explain myself when my explanation was structured (and can be second sourced easily online) yet you don't question a 2 worded opinion?

Yes I spend money on vacuum cleaners.
How much do you spend on a phone, every 2-3 years? How much do you spend on BB, TV, mobile bills for mobile data on candy crush or clash of clans?

Ever looked in the mirror before passing judgment on others?
How about start small by posting the first deal yourself, you know, giving back.

Edit: Feel really old talking to these gen x/z people

I had a look at their reviews and thought it wasn't worth the risk even for a better model, just personal choice
