Was looking for a cordless vacuum but didn’t want to spend too much. Came across this for £89.99 (has been posted before at this price) and used the PAID20 code to get it down to £71.99.

It states it comes with a 1 year guarantee, however, about an hour after buying it I received an email from VAX telling me they had registered the device with a 2 year one!

I just bought one. Awesome price OP, thanks! In stock still.
Make that one left!
Ok OOS
Just ordered after these OOS comments - people must add to basket then not complete transaction?
Showing 1 in stock now
Looks like they keep adding stock bit by bit. Hopefully a few of you will get lucky and have a look when it’s not out OOS....

Has anyone used one of these? I'd like to get a lightweight vacuum for my ageing parents. They've got a Bosch Athlet which is great but the battery life is pretty bad now - with the brush and 3 speeds it's better than the dysons they used to use.
Keeps going in and out of stock. Refreshed over 5 mins and managed to get one. Also got an email confirming 2 years warranty.

I've had one for several months and they are good.

However, my wife found the weight of it more than she expected so if your parents have strength issues perhaps try one in a store first. The weight is not such an issue when using it with the floor tool of course. The one annoyance for me is that the default position is high/turbo power, most times it is perfectly adequate with it off. Battery life is good especially if turbo is turned off!
Crap if you got an hairy dog.

Can you buy a replacement battery?... Ebay or amazon must have 1?
These are good but long hair gets tangled in the brush and there's no easy method to remove. Also the main dust bin get caked in dust and debris. I feel like it's a great product when new and fresh but very quickly it's gets clogged up and the performance degrades rapidly

Yep, they're good but fill up v. quickly. Bit of a catch 22 I suppose - it picks up loads, but then that means regular emptying and clearing filters, which isn't particularly easy.... But then again it isn't several hundred quid,!

Filters are cheap and you can throw them in the washing machine to clean. I've 3 sets for my blade, so never run out of cleaning power.
Cheers Op got the last one.
I bought one on the last deal. Mine broke within a week. I contacted them and they picked it up but would only refund the order. They said that because it was purchased through eBay they couldn’t replace it despite having the guarantee. It was a shame because I think it’s a great bit of kit.

Worst service and reliability. They try and avoid claims.
They've sold 1708 under the heading `BOX DAMAGED`, what on earth do they do to them at the warehouse
Just got 1. Kept refreshing. Thanks op

Had a few Vax products eg vac and power washer .Service was absolutely brilliant .Called up explained the faulty and Vax sent the next higher model on next day free delivery. Never once quibbled, hugely apologetic ,would not hesitate to use them again.
They have a warehouse damaged box sale coming soon which is great.

Exactly I ordered one a few months back box was not damaged they are used or refurbished I could see slight marks on the main unit
I ordered this Tues, only said 2 in stock then. Was delivered yesterday with Yodel. Box was completely fine and not damaged at all. Its good but not great!
i just bought (a different model) from the vax ebay store.... it was saying ‘one sold, last one’. After I bought, I refreshed the page and it said ‘two sold, last one’. bit cheeky, but there you go. Thanks op

I had a vacuum cleaner. The handle became faulty within 7 months.
Sorry, Not covered.

Just read reviews on Trust Pilot.

Their products are so poor quality that they no longer have confidence in their products and have reduced their vacuum cleaner warranty to 2 years, and do not eve honour this.

Hence one has to retaliate and purchase products online, refuse delivery and get a refund to cost them money!

Fair enough never claimed for a faulty handle .presume they think it was caused by user error as a handle is a fixed part .I have a gtech and I would imagine if I claimed for a handle they would say exactly the same.FWIW my power washer started pouring water from motor .They simple wrote it off over phone and replaced with higher model .I only had about 3 weeks left on warranty. From start to finish service was 1st class.
Each to their own but would have no problems buying a Vax product.

How can an extending handle be abused?
Poor quality shoddy goods. They know it as they reduced warranty for 6 years to 2.

Dyson has a 5 year warranty and Vax 2 years. Who has confidence in their products? Not Vax, which associate themselves with a second rate university in advertising.

Like I said fair enough .Dyson products are double if not more to be fair .Think it's fair to potential HUKD buyers of this to put another positive view on service although I appreciate you are not impressed .I had 2 dealings with them that's all and to be fair they could of made a claim a bit harder by asking for return 1st or pictures etc ,I had even lost receipt but it took about 3 minutes to sort out .The washer they sent was a 75 upgrade on one I had and arrived less than 24 hours later.
Can understand your view if that miffed why not order a new one and change handle then return ( just a thought I would not do that )
Have a good weekend.
Just got mine and only thing could see was tape along top of box was half cut so had a box damaged sticker holding it down apart from that all good n works well
Same here received mine today box contents were brand new and box has no visible damage to it either, it only has a massive label sticked on the box saying damaged box product.
Any who received one of these having issues? My brush bar doesn’t work most of the time - stops spinning, anyone experienced anything similar?
Returned mine after trying it as the hair got stuck in the brush unable to clean unless you want 15 minutes of vacuuming and 1 hour to just clean the brush.

Feel like I have a similar issue, although it’s just normal use. Shame as I’ve been wanting a good cordless vacuum for ages!
