Wow! A vacuum cleaner modelled on the Eiffel Tower. How cool is that?

Yes, initially you may have to use it a few times to get rid of the stubborn stains, but you will notice it immediately, there will be a big difference. They work best I find with little ones when used regularly. Every couple of months or so.

Can it do stairs or just floor carpets?

The one I have has a seperate attachement hose for stairs, I don't think this one does, it's the only differnce by the looks of it.

Can anyone tell me if this is worth buying instead of the Bissell Quickwash at £35 ]here? £15 difference isn't much, and this one does look nicer and have a 600w motor compared to the Bissell's 500w. But does it do the same sort of thing, except better?

Edit: Doesn't matter now. Turns out, Currys' online reservation system doesn't quite tie in with reality, and my local branch has none left. Fort Kinnaird has 6, though.

not sure on the bissell (they are a good make though, that one for £35 is reconditioned not new, not that it matters. just thought i'd point it out

The £35 Bissell vacuum does not include a rotating brush, it's static which means the VAX unit should agitate the carpet fibres deeper and better freeing up more dirt to be picked up.

Don't have either, but have used a Bissell pro-heat before and the performance of that was very poor.

I've just reserved this VAX for collection.... so here's hoping this does a better job...
