It depends what breaks really. If it's parts easily replaced they'll just send a new one out. If it's something that needs to be repaired they pay for it to be collected, and usually send out a replacement (equal or better) straight away. In one circumstance they even told me to keep a steam cleaner that was just slightly faulty and sent out a replacement which was a more expensive newer model!

I really can't understand how some can say their customer service is poor!

I don't get your point? They are refurbished! These are just ones with damaged boxes - there's a big difference between the two - and IMO 20-30% extra for a refurb unit further shows these are v. good deals.

Plus I personally couldn't use a cleaner than's been sucking up other peoples dead skin and God only knows what else in it's previous life

I bought the S7 'Total Home Master 2-in-1 Steam Cleaner' Was £149.99 Now £39.99, with delivery it was £45, sounds like a great deal, placed the order. Then I googled it to see my saving compared to other sites and stores #fail Even Tesco was selling it at £49! eBay & Amazon also had it between £45 - £49 including the actual VAX amazon store BUT the actual VAX website is still selling this steamer at the RRP of £149.99 lol I don't know what to make of it, have I saved money or just been loured into buying by the 'End Of Year Factory SALE' ??

Quite difficult if they don't have stock of the item!

Its an absolute joke, no way to run a business. They should have taken on temp staff to cater for higher sales volumes or put that the item is out of stock.

Finally got my VAX Yesterday 26 days after ordering it!! Shipped by UPS. Will be a little ore cautious ordering with VAX. However I made 3 phonecalls with VAX to finally get something sorted. But better late than never hey!

About time we got rid of the old Vax Spring washer. Ordered a V-125A. Vax sell it themselves at £250 so not quite the saving claimed but still a lot cheaper than anywhere else.

Just ordered a V-125a, over £100 cheaper than they sell it on Amazon with the same guarantee etc. Heat added.

Really cannot recommend these hoovers. The sunction on my current one is not the best and the brush clogs so easily. The one thing i do rate them for is the guarantee, they replace any faulty part without any arguments!

I bought a vacuum in this sale about 2 years ago, and it came with a 5 year warranty. If I were selling sh*tty products then I certainly wouldn't offer a 5 year warranty with them.

I think the vacuums are pretty good value based on performance.

But when I put my Order number in the box on their "Tracking" page I get no information .... so I have asked when my order is likely to be dispatched.

I received mine yesterday however was not impressed that they just put a sticker on the box (they didn't package it within a plain box to conceal what it was) and when I wasn't in, delivered it to my neighbour who in the past has told people that I have sex with vacuum cleaners. I had to go next door and face them to get it, I will never ever live this down.
