A good price, but not a Bargain … A good price, but not a Bargain :)http://www.thereallyusefulstore.co.uk/product.php?product_id=144319&source=frooglehttp://www.valueland.co.uk/product.asp?pf_id=40002031&src=froogle

Yeah i did mention that it was about £5 cheaper than it's nearest rival Valueland charges £4.99 delivery

With free delivery it works out cheaper than the others, so thumbs up from me. Ordered.

Was £12 in B&Q recently

Would anyone seriously have paid £50? £20 seems about right. Thanks for posting.

On the subject Robert Dyas have this:

robertdyas.co.uk/web…lts

the 5year guarantee seems a big plus to me for £40 - my wet and dry vax is fine after 5years weekly use. I suspect that everything else around this price is non-repairable or has a 1 year guarantee.

Are these any good? Over the years I've bought countless cordless vacuum cleaners which have all been next to useless... Any opinions?

My thoughts were that the white plastic wouild show every dirty fingerprint. Agreed they all seem to have the suck of an asmatic ghost. If you want something that works try the Dyson Root - unfortunately it'll cost the best part of £100.

I use a 12v black and decker thingy that was bundled free when I bought a drill, it uses the same batteries - I have to say it does the job rather well. Go for the highest voltage one you can (or brush and dustpan and call it Old Skool Cleaning ;-))

Cheaper, more powerful, and handles wet vacuuming too.

My comments on feeble powered machines etc. here: hotukdeals.com/ite…-d/[/SIZE]

not too sure i'd want it as a piece of art/ornament as the pics on amazon suggest:p
