yeh i saw this, might pick one up tomorrow its VRS 5W btw (this one i think)

cant find any reviews, any good?
Its the Orange one. I think it is the VRS 5SW . Its easy enough to assemble and come with a carpet shampoo included so all in all a very good price. Have a friend who swears by it though
Me too.
"F'ing VAX" she says....:|
two types of people....... those who have owned a vax and would never buy one again.....and those who don't listen to people that have owned one already......
I prefer Bissell carpet cleaners, but this is a good price so heat added.
can someone post a link to it?
Interested but no reviews anywhere
check my first post for Amazon link. Its only available in-store. You might struggle to get one now as this was posted a while back.
vax is a terrible company with terrible products, never again.…001

Its actually a VRS5W and i've bought one from netto's for £39.99

and they still have some in stock in my local.

Got a vax hoover and a vax cleaner...both 'floor'less and certainly no problems!
Plenty of stock in Cambourne today if anyone is near there...
Both Vax and Hoover are brands now owned by Techtronics of hong kong. They are hand assembled in hong kong and mainland china in fairly low tech factories. Obviously when Hoover was US owned and Vax was UK owned they were making better products generally. However I must admit I've got a techtronics AEG drill and its brilliant. Well impressed with its performance for the price I paid.…htm

Basically you just have to ignore the past reputation of these brands and think of the products now as similar to shop brands and generic brands and value them accordingly in fact techtronics make many of those too. I have a techtronics Hoover upright vacuum and it works but it has a few design issues. I bought my Hoover cheap on ebay it was something like £3 plus postage refurbished. Even had a 3 months guarantee. As crap as it is though it still does a better job of cleaning carpets than any cyclinder vacuum without a powered brush head but does have a tendency to fall over if your using the hose. The later versions have a plastic leg you pull out to stop them falling over. Pretty poor solution if you ask me.
does the the vax cleaner avalible in morrisons clean stairs i mean as it got the tubes to do them
