Spending over 200gbp for this, but then have to shell out 50 gbp every (how often?) to keep it running?

"Replace your main filter every 3-6 months depending on usage." according to the manual.

I'll probably only have it on during hayfever season anyway so probably once a year, gladly pay that to reduce my allergies.

I've bought that model few days back, and it's coming with free additional filter.
Are they still doing interest free payments over 3 months? The smaller version was a best buy. Filter is expensive to replace.

We've been using this for 2 months now and very pleased with it. Paid £280 for mine direct from Vax with free filter and interest free. They have been sold for £180 in the past.

Yes interest free option over 3 months with Klarna
There are some design flaws with these models! Or should I say improvements
I suffer from asthma and hayfever and have the vax 200 and 300. They are excellent and have made a huge difference for me. This time of year is usually tough with high pollen counts. These purifiers have been worth every penny.

You could be correct if you live in a particular high pollutant area, it would work out expensive. Although some might say that the benifit out ways the cost.

We are very lucky living out in the countryside, the air quality is really good. We only put the purifier on at night it the kids room. It's only ever turned to the "Red" dial color a couple of times and that was when we were having a bbq and I'd left the window open by mistake.

I think that there are other Purifiers on the market that are better than this one for both performance and replacement filter costs...
Arrived yesterday and already felt the difference today, no hayfever symptoms at all while in my room with it (windows and doors shut). Compared to the rest of the week where I’ve had itchy eyes all day. Very good!
Got mine too and happy, but no spare filter

my filter arrived as a separate package entirely - worth contacting them.

Do you just leave them on 24/7, or just when you are in the house? Do you also leave windows open too, or does that defeat the purpose of them?

We suffer with hayfever too, but need the windows open, especially in the evening to cool the house down in the height of summer.

This morning neither of us have been outside and are suffering with hayfever symptoms already. Bloody annoying so just wondering whether this would help or not.

They have three levels, the highest being a little noisy, so I tend to run them 24/7 on low or medium in most cases. The difference in air quality is very noticeable for me. I sometimes have the window open too, and although I don’t think this is ideal for air circulation, the effect of the purifier seems to exceed the impacts of open windows. It’s a powerful and very effective piece of kit. This time of year I’m usually taking antihistamines every day and still expecting to suffer a bit, but since getting these I don’t take meds every day and hardly have any issues with Hayfever or Asthma. They are very good in my experience.
seems this offer is expired now as I can't see the additional free filter when I tried to order online also contacted VAX via Chat and seems the executive is not aware of this offer at all.
Still at the reduced price of £229.99. Interest free over 3 months available. Free 50 quid filter not showing any or which is a shame.
