The VAX (W91-RS-B-A) Rapide Spring Clean carpet cleaner offers great cleaning performance in a lightweight and compact package.

Designed to be as easy to use as a regular dry vacuum cleaner, the Rapide Spring Clean provides an affordable way to wash carpets and suck up spills. The multi-row brush bar works with the cleaning solution to gently loosen and lift embedded dirt from carpet pile that dry vacuuming alone cannot reach.

Features:

Lightweight and manoeuvrable - easy to fill, empty, use and store
Washes carpets and sucks up accidental spills
Multi-row brushbar - lifts and refreshes carpet pile to leave carpets looking renewed

I managed to pick this up at Asda Pontprennau Cardiff

I'll let you know in a hour - off to clean bedroom

Cheers

it's actually pretty good

I've got one, good for a freshen up but getting tough stains out is very hard work as the brush at the front is tiny and not close enough to the ground. Took me 3 hours to do my carpet going over the same spot over and over - serves me right for getting a beige coloured carpet.
Also I find the suction to be very poor. It does pick up water and it's black which is good but carpet was still soaking 24 hours later.
Never worth £150. £40 is about right.

Yep, I had one too and can agree with this... useless at removing stains, bought a Bisell 2 weeks ago and the difference is unbelievable... cleans 1st time and the carpet is dry in 2 hours...

Just did box room - If you have no kids this would be perfect to freshen up carpets!
Doesnt remove any stains although the water in the tank was foul - Wouldnt buy it again and will be hiring a rug Dr.

Better than using a pressure washer

I agree, i have the vax rapide, which is more substantial than this one. Even that is pretty useless. The front doesn't sit low enough to create suction to get the water back up. Last time i used it i was like a contortionist, trying to keep one foot pressed down on the front and inch it backwards and forwards to get the water out of the carpet oO Never again, got wood floor and its in the back of the cupboard.!

Sorry yes this was instore.

Utter rubbish. Very poor build quality. Opened it and then took it back.

I have a Bissel - dry carpet in an hour. A very good machine for families with kids! it makes your carpet look like brand new!
