As slk8 pointed out if you order the steamworks mop at Argos, you actually get given the Vax S87-T2, I was unsure this was national or just something at one particular store. Well as I was given this at the Romford branch, so Im assuming its national. I took it home and tested it out, and its rather good. I think its a pretty good price for a Vax, you get one mop head and a 400 ml water tank

Edit: The Vax was previously on sale at 49.99 at Sainsburys (original price 100.00)

This has now been confirmed nationwide but beware ordering to store as you may not get the vax. only get if the store is showing as having stock

    no Argos near me but my sister managed to get 1 for her and 1 for me and that was them being ordered in as well - sis was talking to the guy in Argos and the story is that Steamworks and Vax are made by the same company so anyone that has to order it in will get the Vax as they are/have stopped making the Steamworks ones

    I bought 2 from Argos in Salford so probably is a national deal

    cant find an exact current price but has good reviews on sainsburys website, although it seems the no longer stock it as it discontinued: reviews.sainsburys.co.uk/267…htm

    dunno man, this is sounding like too much hard work.

    Lol yeah, if your driving down or taking a bus or whatever to go ask about an item, wait for it to come down the escalator thing and feel awkward if the worker has to open it. But I would imagine it will have a VAX logo advertised all over the box.

    picked up one in ipswich today i now have shiny floors! Also got a pack of mop heads for it from b&m 5 for 4:99, they fit fine! Also used ironing water in the tank and it smells lovely, one thing(ONLY thing lol) i enjoyed about washing floors was the fresh smell!

    Old thread I know but plenty of people had this clearly.

    Mine finally died today steam not coming out of bottom but the pressure relief valve in back. Have striooed it and cleared /Checked all pipes but same issue. How many others still using theres...

    An any other cheap suitable replacements ? All current reviews for steamers are not good or very highly priced. (edited)

    The Aldi one is like the proverbial rocking horse poo so Argos one is a better bet. We reserved the Steamworks one in Coventry and got the Vax so it does work. Reviews look ok so might keep it.
