Members doing click and collect are purchasing the twin tank detergent model at £39.99, I also mentioned. My OP was for the cheaper steam only version which is INSTORE only as per the post.

Thanks, got the twin tank one, even though the rrp is WILDLY inflated by Sainsbury's (_;)

Thanks.

not used a vac steamer, use a h2o steamer all the time, great for De odourising carpets and the car

Great, have to say I did half my kitchen floor (it's quite big) and even the teenagers noticed the difference. I'm properly chuffed!

Although made by Vax, this model is the same as yours, steam and wipe, flipping' marvellous!

Just a word of warning. Do not use on upholstery. It says you can but when I used it on my settee it burnt white scold marks into the material. A very expensive mistake on my part as the settee was new (insurance company would not cover). I have seen newer steam mops advertised as "anti streaking" so its obviously been a problem. Only use on stone/tiled floors to avoid costly damage.

Thanks for that, sorry to hear about your sofa.

Many on ebay at same price delivered. Refurb mind but not exactly as much of a bargain as originally thought

Thanks, would come real handy in the late spring clean at home!

Bought one today Gloucester barnwood store . something to try over weekend. Heat added

I don't run the site, there's many helpers/mods who could've done it, why don't you report the thread to admin and they'll tell you?

I ordered the s2sT online and it arrived today at the store. I tried when I got home and it seemed to do the job with a little bit of steam couldn't see it but it made a noise but after about 5 minutes it cut out. I looked on the VAX website for help and it suggested I switch it off for 2 hours. I just tried it again and it appeared to work and then when I was ready to mop the floor having moved some chairs and carpet it cut out again. Anyone else have problems like this. I am planning to take it back tomorrow if it doesn't work after a 2 hour rest. Both water tank and detergent tank were filled.

Did you try out your mop?

Bought one today and have done the whole downstairs without a flaw.
Had a cheap steam mop previously, but once the floor was dry we walled across it barefoot.
It feels totally different, really clean.
Guess the cheap one wasn't really worth the effort

Hi, did you use short bursts of steam or held the trigger down constantly?

Held that trigger the whole time.
