this any good OP? looking for a vaccuum thats cordless and wanted to spend max £100 prefereably a little less

I think these are a big hit.

cant decide if this is as good as a dyson or not. Its half the price.. but will that mean half as decent ?

More accessories.on this one.

Looking at video on YouTube I don't think these Vax models have multi cyclone technology like Dyson but then again they are cheaper. Video on eBay shows a fine mesh filter and a central dust separator. Another deciding factor will be how powerful the motor / suction is. Vax talk about battery voltage and that they last 24 mins. Dyson talk about motor wattage and they last 20 mins. So not easy to compare.

We wanted to buy a cordless vac for my mum. We tested the vax , Dyson and Bosch models in Currys and the Dyson felt much better to handle and more powerful. more expensive but mum is very happy with it! She has pain in her arm so cannot use the old upright hoover but the dyson is fine.

it seems like Vax have stopped making them so they can't be that good ?

Showing as £199 today! Despite This Morning publicising it at £99 a second ago! Any ideas?

£99 on the Currys ebay website, but chat guy refuses to budge from the £199 on the Currys website?!

Just called Currys helpline was left on hold for 20 minutes to be told 'This morning' quoted the wrong price and they would not honour the price! I stated HUKD are also advertising Currys selling for £99.99 but apparently they're wrong too!

Yeah but no but...ok, agreed. But two weeks isn't REALLY that long. Currys have doubled the price at some point in that time. They still have it listed for £99.99 on an official Currys ebay site, but have none in stock! Just bought it for £90 off someone on ebay, boxed etc, but won't have a high street store to go back to in case of problems. Currys could have had my money if they wanted it!

It was advertised at £99.99 on 'The Morning' show today - strange how it only showed as 'EXPIRED' after my call and quote on here ... what a rip off and handled every badly in terms of 'Customer Service'

this is just as good as a Dyson and i highly recommend it, longer battery mine has lasted 30 mins and over, you can turn the brush on and off from the handle, plus it has a latch for the button so you don't even need to keep your hand on the trigger, and a easy removable battery, bigger bin size 0.6L vs dyson 0.4L it's a lot better than i expected it to be
