These are useless. Luckily I got mine for only £30 during a deal so didn't lose much.

Just leaves everything wet. Stains either not removed or you have to spend a lot of effort removing it which defeats the objective. It can also damage surface so beware. Stick to washing liquid and a rough sponge, more rewarding.

I must be using mine differently but have found mine to be very good and like the fact that the amount of steam can be adjusted for a variety of floor types to ensure they are not soaked unlike mopping! Ours is also used regularly to clean bathroom tiles and cleans the grout very well. Oh, I don't seem to have a problem removing stains with mine either, using an absorbent pad works very well.

I have read similar comments from some reviews ( 90 % or more of reviews seem to be positive and it did win a Which magazine award) - i wonder if it is user error/inability to use properly ? For example-over-steaming can lead to streaky or damp surfaces, so short bursts of steam give best results etc

Yep, got this about six months ago and find it great. None of the issues mentioned above

Now £89 so was a bargain for 69 quid- and it works which is more important!
