Still working. SHould this not be hotter? I am grabbing one.
Still working grabbed a bargain!
Thanks. For once a deal has popped up just when I needed it. Usually they come along just after I have bought something.

I have had 3 pressure washers over the years and none have been particularly long lasting. I am not a heavy user but each of them has had an issue failing to generate pressure. There is however a big difference in the results with the more powerful ones and this looks good value for money to me when compared to others. It is excellent value for money on the face of it helped also by 3% TCB and free delivery. It is due to be delivered tomorrow so hopefully it will live up to expectations.
Have some heat, Nice find and at a bargain price.
Got the model up from this with the useless hose reel .
Vax customer service is brilliant though .had a problem with missing release clip and they sent a full reel and Lance l
I had this very model, it lasted 2.5 years - no power or anything all of a sudden (not the fuse either). It was a replacement for the VPWC1 I had that lasted 6 months (the upgrade was a goodwill gesture by Vax as the range was brand new back then so I think they wanted to know about reliability issues). I asked Vax if they can repair it and they said no but offered me a minor discount on another model which I declined. I am definitely not a heavy user, probably used 4 or 5 times a year tops, so I would be cautious. However, my mum had a lower powered Karcher and that probably lasted a similar time so maybe it is just pressure washers. The price is good though, that I can't deny.
At the price it's not bad, but do be a little weary. I'm on my second. The first one (this model, but in the older style casing) became intermittent after about a year- you'll hear the motor whirring higher and the pressure drop before kicking back in. After just under 2 years it failed altogether. Vax were brilliant in so much as they replaced it with a brand new upgraded model with all the bits and pieces (including the utterly useless hose reel that does nothing but get in the way). After a year of use this has once again begun to show the same symptoms as before.

So, if nothing else, expect it to last for a while and hope that it conks out just before your warranty expires. Customer service excellent - machine quality questionable.
