"up to" gets on my nerves

There's still big savings from regular prices elsewhere. The U90-MA-R Air Reach is £79.99 and it's truly the best vacuum I've used. Plus it has a 6-year warranty and VAX will give you the next model up if it's not in stock if/when it ever needs to be replaced.

You are a bit of a tit, forever trawling this site trying to provoke a pointless and uninteresting argument.

Touché Flombard (_;)
Thank you. Was looking for a lightweight vacuum with a long cord and the U90-MA-R - Air Reach seems just the ticket.
Thanks
Thanks Mamboboy bought a spare set of filters and saved about 40%

You'd think they would be a bit more careful with the boxes wouldn't you?

Ah diddums, still smarting are we. Still plagiarism is the sincerest etc etc. FYI, there is nothing controversial in my comment unless you want there to be But as now we're on the subject Vaxs all performed below par in the Which tests.

Also want a cleaner, which one offers the best value?
Thanks for this, we've been looking for one

I find that it's worth looking at reviews on Amazon, most of them are available there.
Don't buy a steam cleaner/mop and use it on laminate floors
Remember to compare their prices with other sites. The Mach Air Pet & Family in the OP is not £249.99 elsewhere and you can easily get a manufacturer refurb one with a one year warranty for £59.99 on ebay.
Vax Rapide Ultra 2 according to 'Which'
anyone find one with 80% off?

Still seems a great saving on Amazon prices, which are usually a good general judge.

Can anyone recommend a good general bagless vaccum cleaner and carpet cleaner?

Cheers will hopefully order one when I get home

some model are 80% off but why it's only £10 cheaper than amazon???

by the way, which one is the best for carpet washer???

In my opinion, the Air Reach (U90-MA-R). The only downside is the small cylinder, so it needs to be emptied more often. It rarely drops below the £140 mark on Amazon and gets a lot of excellent reviews: amazon.co.uk/pro…GY/

Also the Air (U91-MA-B), and the Air Pets and Family (U89-MA-PF). I think they are more or less the same but one is lacking the pet hair tool and they may both have shorter cables... also not as much of a saving for them when compared to the Air Reach' typical selling price.

I don't rate their larger cleaners at all really so couldn't recommend them.

New and comes with 6 years guarantee from VAX. But yes, you're right... it's worth reading reviews and checking prices first. That's why I think the Air Reach is the best value for money.

doesnt "STAFFSALE12" kind of indicate its for Staff?
Thanks, ordered carpet cleaning liquid.
bought this one

"Carpet washer VCW-01 - VCW-01" ...is it good price? I paid about £105

Refurb ones on ebay is £99 + free delivery.
Brand new on ebay is £149.99 + free del
Nice! I got one RRP £79.99 got it for £34.98 including postage saving of £45.01
Air Reach (Damaged box)
U90-MA-R

Sold out.
From the two Vax cleaners we've had I can think of more reasons not to get one than to recommend them...
Flex too short
STUPIDLY noisy (yes, even for a vacuum cleaner). In addition to this, when stretched out, the hose emits a piercing shriek like really loud feedback.
Blows OUT a STUPIDLY large amount of air... so throws a lot of dust up off the floor and surrounding area into the air before you have a chance to vacuum.
Started off fine but after 12-18 months it threw out as much rubbish as it was collecting - heavier gritty particles (still quite small though) just got strewn behind.
Build quality is very cheap.

Would definitely not buy another.

Air Reach (Damaged box)U90-MA-R Sold out.

yep damn it was just about to buy it

any other good ones?
Rubbish.

You can get their Astrata (Damaged box) C90-AS-B-AS for £29.99 plus delivery.
But Asda did it for £30 new and with the option of collecting.
I bought U91 mab from Argos when it had money off. TBH wish I had gone back to Dyson. Only think I like about it is the weight and the 6 year warranty.. Build quality was rubbish clips fell off and got lost within 2 weeks. Ridiculously short flex i have to plug it in at bottom end of hall doesn't reach wholeway down . Hose is short and the vacum forever falls over when you are using the hose. Very poor compared to Vax . Also have floor stean cleaner Bare to go ! Biggest waste of money ever bucket and mop far better. Save your money .
got the VAX VS19EC for £49 on ebuyer a couple of months back, £10 cheaper with this deal so not bad.

Wouldn't fall for the idea that this some sort of "staff only" deal though

heat added
the little robot thing looks cool for £40.
Had our U90-MA-R about 2 years. Cost £150. Good points are..its smaller and lighter than a dyson so goes under the stairs easier but wouldnt recommend it. Pick up not good and forever emptying it. Wife hates it.
When it dies and goes to hoover heaven will pay the extra and buy a Dyson.
Selling like hot cakes!

I never said anything about it being 'controversial' but it did 'get on my nerves' as most of your banal post's do.:D
Bought the XP Pet hoover in the last sale, decent for the money, missed "air Force Pet" as it was sold out last time, pity as its on sale here.
