I've had mine 4 yrs since they were first released Had no problems at all ... it's been brilliant ..... ideal when you have furry family members .... now my daughters 'permanently borrowed it' XD (hence research for another at the best price)

I bought this at the beginning of the year, and now it leaks from the back basicallly putting back the water it sucks up. Thankfully its within the 1 year warranty and I'm dealing with Vax now, but if i could go back in time, i wouldn't have bought it.

i have to agree, we have a dual power pro twin tank and im lucky if it sucks 1/4 of the water back up, its as if the head it too light and once you pull the handle back a little it reduces the suction pressure as the head isn't pressed down enough, if you put your foot on it it sucks great but you try walking with one foot on the cleaner. In principle there great but in practice they leave a lot to be desired, the bissel we had previously worked better even if it didnt last that long

Thanks, that would be helpful, we considered hiring a carpet cleaning machine but thought for best overall value it would be better having our own?

Hire a Karcher Puzzi carpet cleaner from any tool hire shop or Jewsons etc Vax are a joke ,they are hopeless at extracting the water and your carpets will take days/weeks to dry! Total toytown garbage

seems this offer is expired now as I can't see the additional free filter when I tried to order online also contacted VAX via Chat and seems the executive is not aware of this offer at all.

They have three levels, the highest being a little noisy, so I tend to run them 24/7 on low or medium in most cases. The difference in air quality is very noticeable for me. I sometimes have the window open too, and although I don’t think this is ideal for air circulation, the effect of the purifier seems to exceed the impacts of open windows. It’s a powerful and very effective piece of kit. This time of year I’m usually taking antihistamines every day and still expecting to suffer a bit, but since getting these I don’t take meds every day and hardly have any issues with Hayfever or Asthma. They are very good in my experience.

Do you just leave them on 24/7, or just when you are in the house? Do you also leave windows open too, or does that defeat the purpose of them? We suffer with hayfever too, but need the windows open, especially in the evening to cool the house down in the height of summer. This morning neither of us have been outside and are suffering with hayfever symptoms already. Bloody annoying so just wondering whether this would help or not.

my filter arrived as a separate package entirely - worth contacting them.

Just got one too, well happy, was worried with the mixed reviews but it's probably the best bang for buck cordless out there

We just got one and have to say it's brilliant. So much easier to use and easily does as good a job as our corded one. Quick charge, and very good guarantee. Can do a 3 bed house on one charge. I was really surprised and pleased how good it is.

He thought it was a Wet n Dry vac. (:I (:I (:I (:I

Fantastic these are, have bought 2 now a 24v and a 36v - both of them are on par with our Dyson. I got the 'open box' ones off ebay for £69 & £99 with 3 year warranties. The boxes were not damaged, and had never been open. I wouldn't pay 219.99 though.

What fault did they say 'you' caused?

Hi, this deal has been posted several times from Amazon, this is direct with Vax and comes with free delivery.

With the 20% ebay code it comes down to £103 - I think I'll go for it (y) 🏻

This one is said to leave the carpet quite/very wet! Also there's a free steam cleaner with big brother but I've not seen it less than RRP. Anyone?

Worth getting? Or worth the extra for the bigger brother?

Bought it in January sales from Currys in store for £80

I'm really tempted by this, but I've seen online that it was £95 on Amazon back in October

1. Battery get discharged itself while stationary, don't know why and when exactly. Under "investigation" ;) 2. 3 bedroom house, living room extended to part where normal people would have dining room, cheap carpet everywhere except kitchen and bathroom. - battery is not enough to go around the whole house. 2 things why. 1st - simple, capacity is poor, 2nd - to make most of it you got to turn on all the features - turbo speed and rotary brush and those two drain battery v. quick. So I would say, battery is good for small bungalow, or 2 bedroom apartment top. 3. I mentioned above, only with all features on, on normal power level is good to get grind coffee off the floor or worktop or other stuff like that, but nothing more than that. 4. Didn't try to valet a car yet, but I don't expect much... 5. If you ask me, nevertheless I am happy with it. Suit my needs. It's only me and my lady, we don't walk around the house in shoes, most dirt builds in kitchen, bread crumbs etc. It works well with those. But if I would have a pet or kids and long hair way I would go with this, it's too weak to fight with more stubborn dirt or anything stuck between fibers etc. I like it mostly as it is my first cordless small and light vacuum. It is great for lazy person as I am, who is not really into all the hussle with big corder Vax. This one I can grab, turn on, clean a mess after eating crisps or cookies on a couch and put back on a side. Quick and easy.

Only recently seen Vax Onepwr Blade 3 & 4 advertises on tv, just did a search to see if any deals had been posted for either on here and stumbled across this old thread. Now, that a bunch of you have owned one of these recent models for a while would any of you mind posting your opinions on them? Pros and cons? Would you recommend them to others? Have been using a Dyson DC07 Animal upright for many years which is still going strong but a few parts could do with replacing but considering the cost of genuine replacement parts I thought it might be a better idea to put the money towards a new vacuum cleaner. Was considering a Dyson Ball Light upright which was in offer in January 2020 for £199.99 including a free turbo head attachments in addition to the regular four tools. Or, take the next step up and opt for a Vax Onepwr Blade 4 for £219.99 direct from Vax in order to get the extra toolkit (supposedly worth ~£50). Thoughts? Thanks.

Tried mine for the first time this morning and I'm pretty impressed with it as I only have an old Dyson DC44 to compare it to and it's much better than that. The light and spinning brush works really well and would pick up fluff straight away that the Dyson needs a few passes to pick it up, if I'm lucky. Only thing I'm not keen on, which is the same as the DC44, is emptying the bin. The rubbish gets stuck in the bin and needs several wack to get it moving and the dust can get all over the lid and the rest of the bin. Definitely happy and keeping mine.

I’ve found it too heavy compared to my cordless dyson. I’m sending back

The Blade 3 is more efficient than the Blade 2 hence the lower voltage. The Blade 3 is close to what my Dyson V8 uses. A machine using worse older tech will need higher voltages to do the same thing. With vacuuming, the capacity is more important than the voltage. We're not cutting grass here.

Cold as previously posted

Good suction but not the easiest to empty if you have hairs or fibrous material as it gets stuck and you need to use a finger to loosen. Overall great hoover for me though. Only other small negative is that the head isn't the bigest and it's a bit heavy at the hand end for some users. Not for the elderly or arthritis sufferers IMO.

Better than some Dysons but later model Blade 2 40V is much better.

Some refurbished ones lower spec model but cheaper

Why cold? Dyson are way more expensive

Same crappy machine as last year but with a new plastic colour shell shape, slightly modified dirty/clean water tank and suction channel pattern. Which in turn was the same as the year before that...and before that. 8-9 year old design that was rubbish then and rubbish now.

IV been keeping an eye on the vax platinum for over a year now and it's never dropped in price not even by 50 quid on black Friday 2018, so I'm giving up waiting soon and will get the max 2 bundle with it I think

I paid £249 for this last year. I have some holiday let’s and this get the carpets very clean and not to wet. Not used the steamer yet. Worth buying if you clean a lot of carpets. Overall very happy.

does anyone when then vax factory sale is on please

Yes you are quite right and entitled to your opinion, but the fact remains that it's the best deal out there today if you want one today so not cold. Anyway thanks for your input but considering inflation from 16 months ago then you have more or less said it's now a better deal than back then

PennyPincher2019 16 months ago, same price with a cleaner. Not cheaper, deal no better, hence the cold from me. The Bundle is good value in my opinion if you need the hoover too, thats my opinion, and I'm entitled to it. The site works on peoples opinion, as to whether they agree its a deal too, but with something that cost exactly the same 16 months ago, there's no 'deal' to be had.

Care to enlighten us on this incredible bit of information on a post created a week ago?

Its cheap never buy VAX products

As the poster of this deal I thought I’ve share my review of the v32 as it just arrived yesterday. Firstly, could have went for next day free delivery which is alway good. Very easy to put together. The free accessory kit is decent with lots of extras for all the hard to reach areas. Clear indicator of the charge time and battery left. I’ve not had it on for longer than 10mins, tho. Came with some charge but I fully charged it before use. Sucking power on normal is great. Picking up lots of dust and fluff from my wood flooring and rug. The boost button cranks things up a notch but I’ve not really had a need for it yet. Easy to manoeuvre and the small wall hanger is a nice touch. I can’t complain for the price. I wouldn’t spend the extra on a Shark or a Dyson but then my needs don’t really require one. Struggling to see any negatives at this point.

OK, so I went for the vax 32 over the dyson, straight out of the box with 25% battery I had over 10 mins on full boost, I did give the front room a hoover earlier on in the evening (5pm) with our (old but serviced) dyson rollerball. Then a quick go with the new vax 32. The amount of stuff it picked up on a previously hoovered carpet surprised me tbh. This is in no way a review or a anti dyson bashing post, but there is no way that that dyson v8 could be much better than this especially for double the price. Well happy with it. Let's just see now if it stands the test of time.

When is factory sale coming up this year? ANY IDEA?

Is this any better than the Vax Air Cordless Lift? I bought the Air Cordless Lift because you can separate the cylinder for cleaning out the car but the suction is so poor that it will only lift very light debris. To be honest whoever signed the Vax Air lift off to be manufactured needs sacking for corporate sabotage as this product is rubbish.

Hang on, you paid a fee to get a replacement when the item was faulty?

Got the 32V model; brush burnt out after 4 months and hinge on the door catches now. Dust filters need to be cleaned very regularly, especially if you have pets. Spare filters are super cheap for it, battery life is really good too. Suction is also pretty good for a handheld. Not perfect but no handheld is and I’d still buy this over a Dyson as you could buy 2 for the same price :)

Having purchased the 32v only last week. I have found it to be lacking it's rave. Had a Bosch athlet before and was very happy with that. It's a nice handheld hoover top heavy with the motor, it does clean well but doesn't like biscuits and cables are easily caught in the brush which can require unscrewing the side panel. Where as a Bosch just slides out. As regards vale for money it's cheaper than a dyson V8 and can be got on instalments via vax website. Am I happy with it? No not really it works but just has not got the edge over a Bosch. Best thing I can suggest is try before you buy as once used in home after purchase it has a no return policy unless faulty

Fab price for cordless vacuum with great battery length AND free toolkit

This has very mixed reviews. In reality no cordless model is going to pick as well as a wired model - even a £30 cheapy wired upright will perform much better.

Best thing I've ever bought for the house.

Always been this price? I purchased with the toolkit at this price last year.
