Yes I tried vecton this month and the worst data connection but I voted hot by mistake
Checked out their FaceBook page... the reviews are not promising....
Vectno thanks.
Stay away from this network the internet is absolutely appalling
You get what you pay for so if you don't think it's worth it then try out the sim where you can call and text
This mob are a real bunch of cowboys. The customer disservice should get awards for their ability to do absolutely nothing at all in broken English. Their network was down for about a week in July whilst they 'did some updates' during which time their customers were left hung out to dry.

Unlimited everything? Yep, that includes crap service.
You pay what you get with these. £10 what you expect high quality 4g super fast? They do give poor data speeds but for value you cant exactly moan

But you can moan. Nowhere does it mention that the data will be unusable in the marketing blurb. ..

So is your face

Shut up you clown the internet service is crap as everybody else says, it is barely useable and constantly disconnects so its not a matter of you get what you pay you pay for internet and cant use it, if you dont have anything productive to say then **** off.

So you have to bring your own number and join before you get the £15 right ? Not just get the sim and top up and get the £15 ?

worsee then giffgaff lol?
No problems in Scotland, know a handful of people Scotland wide using them.
trust Me guys I have try these guys... stay away...bunch of Cowboys... first thing you will notice when u put their SIM card in is your smart phone gone into roaming and it's displaying two time zones.. no amount of SIM setting will fix it... then if you call their customer service it's a nightmare ..promised called back will never happen... moment you get bit annoyed calls will be disconnected and even their supervisors are not aware of UK regulation of 14 days cooling off period and you will waste your first month tarrif cost.. lastly you will never be unsubscribed from their mailing list ..pay couple of pounds more and get proper UK supplier
I tried these and after 1 day I regretted it.
The data is barely usable at <1mbps in built up areas of good coverage.
The APN details drop out, or change to a Dutch vectone setting at random, which kills your network entirely (no calls or texts).
I requested my PAC less than 24 hours after topping up.

See above for a hundred reasons not to use them.
Voting cold, not to offend the OP, but to reduce visibility of this company on here.
Good for calls and text , only can be used as disposable sim.. Not reliable for main number. Reviews looks very horror. No idea how they survived still in the market.

they only survived because of cheap international calls mainly to Asian countries but not even that is not competitive and she tariff it's offered by many others

Any idea on what rough data speeds they get and how much usage ? Normally a piggyback network has usage caps so any help for a guy looking for unlimited data in glasgow with reasonable speeds would be appreciated.
6-8MB, faster than 3G EE its run on, assume the backhaul to internet is not EE servers.

Think its 5GB

Really need a T-Mobile account for unlimited 3G

are they limiting you to 3G with no 3.5G after a certain data amount, Voda and EE have 4G, have you locked down to 3G on the EE sim to test ?

6-8 was best, average is 2-4MB

Backhaul maybe bottled in high density area, the server is saturated ?

Thanks that is actually better than I am currently getting on T-Mobile at the moment , currently I've got aa full Monty T-Mobile tariffs with 2000mins&data for 13.25 a month using a £10 loyalty discount. Cheekily I phoned up upgrades cos I'm out of contract to discuss if I can keep my unl data on a faster tariff/4g and was swiftly kicked out of town and told that T-Mobile is no longer being sold and my loyalty discount could expire any time! Generally my tariff is good with data pretty consistently getting my maximum cap of 4mbps download speeds however I felt the greed for faster after using my ee summer sim. Might consider three too for unlimited data

Yeah I've never noticed the torrent speed cap as I don't use it however the tethering can be slow when using it to connect to Xbox live but that seemed to be similar when using the ee summer sim too. Hmmmm decisions decisions if my loyalty discount disappears then I will have to make a choice and I will look at this , giffgaff ,three etc cos the most important thing is unl data for me and three offer 4g too so I will keep my eyes peeled.

is that not latency issue using mobile wifi ?

More related to game downloads and streams rather than live gaming and even my ee 4g sim which normally was getting around 10-100mbps at that spot didn't seem to go above 3-4mbps for a good 7gb download and at other times so seemed odd and even my 4mbps t-mobile sim seemed to get similar speeds with my ee sim when connected to the Xbox.
AVOID Vectone! The signal is shocking, even if you do get a reliable signal then it will just switch off in that area for hours. The data takes a while to connect (if it connects) and it is utter rubbish. Check out the reviews on Trustpilot. Vectone are also refusing to cancel my monthly rolling contract, telling me that i will have to pay a £15 disconnect fee on top!
data is useless I got this on the 7.99 offer without seeing this thread.
also calls cut off either every 15 mins or at 60 mins.
luckily I'm on a dual sim phone so have giffgaff as a backup with my number on that.
glad I always wait at least a month before I consider porting my number.
