That’s the price it should be!
Tried it. Confirmed it tastes awesome! Although they were crap at cooking it and I sent the first one back (the manager himself couldn't bend it xD). Got a full refund and a free 2nd try at the burger.
Clearing out their Veganuary stock pile!
this would make more sense if they did a vegan gravy

Is the gravy vegan?
Heat OP. If I can I'll try this. Great price
That seems to suggest the offer is on 1st Feb - which is not Blue Monday

Blue Monday (today) is the offer for gravy
Is this cooked away from the meat or in the same oils? I remember looking forward to trying the Burger King halloumi burger but reading the small print it's fried in same oil as beef.

Is the gravy vegan?

It isn't, because they use all the bits at the bottom of the chicken fryers in it.

39720132-rVjOk.jpgOP has also included the start date in the post (see above) of 1st Feb

Yes, but the OP put:

"To go with blue Monday KFC will be offering the vegan burger for 50% off for 1 day only" (they've since added the date)

It's cooked separately, confirmed by KFC before launch.
Doesn't come with chips as they are cooked with popcorn chicken
Great if you hate meat. Hot

The chips aren't even vegan never mind the gravy lol

confirmed by KFC that it will be cooked completely separately, the vegan burger will be ovened, separate utensils etc so no cross contamination.
Looks good thanks op I can go KFC again
Love these, although not vegan.

If you order the burger and drink meal they wouldn't let me have a cappuccino due to it not being vegan.. But, asked me if I wanted milk with the black coffee I was allowed
It'll differ from store to store, some have been given actual chicken burgers..

Hi, this is incorrect. Its cooked in the oven away from meat products. It's not cooked on a grill 😁
I'm vegan so heat - happy to try this since they cook it separately (unlike Burger King)

Hmmm great in theory but I would suspect that lazy/idiotic/think it’s funny/ staff will be cross contaminating them.
Paid £4.49 on Sunday. Would not touch it again. McD, BK and Subway options much better in taste.
Had it, its great. Probably the second best vegan junk food slightly behind the greggs sausage roll (mainly for value).
Tried it, disappointing and definitely not worth £4. Would be 1000 times better with a slice of cheese and a hash brown and just marketing it as veggie rather than vegan.

Or just use vegan cheese like Subway do.

They should offer it for true vegans but it is proper disgusting, I eat meat but am cutting back like many people (due to the worlds impending doom) but couldn’t go full vegan as I love cheese and milk way to much
I tried alot of vegan burgers this tastes horrible

Tastes like a boring burger, wasnt impressed
EV820/01/2020 14:53

Wrong, it’s oven cooked away from the meat

It's actually cooked on the Quorn factory.

It's prepared in its own equipment on its own station, with Thier own utensils and a trained person to ensure no contamination happens.

Im a strict vegan and I was impressed!... Just the burger was boring.

P.s. fries not vegan! Shock right?

I don't eat out so I didn't know either way... How could they screwup fries?
lucas20/01/2020 14:57

Yes

No it isn't. Why are you giving false information?

Is the subway version fully vegan, like no cross contamination? I fancy trying a couple of different options now. im not a vegan but i am trying to ease my consumption of meat so this a good option, if it actually tastes nice.

McD veggie range has been awful for a long long time, no idea why they scrapped their original veggie burger.

It should be, I know they change their gloves whenever you ask for the vegan option at least.
