Every time I see someone order a vegan meal I order an extra sausage

Do you feel the need to compensate for something 😜
Nice find. Whilst not being completely vegan myself, I'd fully support anyone's desire to go vegan! Might use this tomorrow

Vegan - what’s the point of living??

So that we live while not causing harm to others - while protecting the planet maybe? Foods good if you can cook

In October I would guess?
Not sure what the vegan food is like but Las Iguanas is my favourite chain restaurant by far. Their chili is amazing.

Don't be ridiculous, meatober is in June
Las Iguanas for when you fancy a ready meal, but want someone else to microwave it for you
They can't give it away. I'm a modern day Noah, but I want to eat two of every animal
Thanks for this! I’m vegan and happy to go to las iguanas to get this offer! Good find!
I’m sure my misses has gone vegan! She used to eat my sausage all the time when we were going out now we live together she refuses to let my sausage touch her lips.

Great find
Iguanas cannot be vegan!

You're whining that Vegan's have January and a single week in November...when meat eaters have 11 months of the year...oh shush now

True. Nowadays there's more push to be different. In few years time I hope we start celebrating and having prides all over three world for straight people eating meat and being unhealthy.
Good deal if you are vegan, not sure in the point of being vegan personally but each to their own

No they don’t.
by definition, the only vegans who you hear about are the ones who are vocal about it. You pass hundreds of others without ever knowing about it because they keep it to themselves.

and you possibly don’t realise the comments and lifestyle pushing that arrogant/idiotic meat eaters are responsible for eg when cooking lunch at work or posting a quorn deal on a deals website. But logically we don’t tar an entire group with the behaviour of a minority

Just to clarify, you opened the deal of your own volition just to vocalise your feeling that you're having things forced upon you?
In my experience vegans do love to patronise meat eaters & try to push their vegan preference on to everyone else in a holier than thou fashion. Each to their own, personally I truly dislike vegan food, however I would not try & tell vegans that their food is horrible & they should eat meat, fish &dairy.

no, vegans are just nuisance to the society, how did they survived just 100 years ago.... ohh wait they did not, they died from malnutrition and vitamin deficiency

you never hear people with diabetes or (real) "coeliac's", or pancreatitis (or any other real food related disease) saying, cant have that I'm diabetes, or coeliac.... its usually those whith made up crap that have to announce it loud and clear,
just saying

Also you should watched this

Do you respect that most of the time, vegans choose the diet because of animal welfare? I really don't understand all the negativity towards veganism. In fact I think if most people truly saw the direct consequences of livestock overfaming (admittedly it's certainly not easy to watch), they'd find it challenging to ignore.

I respectfully disagree with your statement of the diet being unhealthy. From what read researching into it, it's one of the healthiest diets if you do your homework. (I'm not vegan btw)

“Veganuary” isn’t compulsive, it doesn’t affect you whatsoever. Do you also go onto “Stoptober” posts and complain that they are pushing their views onto you? That you don’t have a “Smoketober” or “Beertober”? How dare they try to encourage people to be healthier!

ohh the welfare of animals.... while wearing leather or woollen clothes, yup I get that.
I dont have anything against vegans/vegetarians... provided they dont announce it to everyone everywhere and pushing their agenda

vegan diet is not healthy.... take away all the fortification and supplements and voila. also how much healthier is it? all the research out there suggest only 2 years longer lifespan on average.

it does affect me, I have to deal with obnoxious vegans. Ive met vegan parents imposing their eating practices on their newborn/children
Stoptober - considering 25% of world population smokes, and smoking is a leading cause of lung cancer, dont see anything wrong with that. Vegan diet? does jack in comparison... cutting down on sugar and processed food has more benefits than vegan diet

I'm not going to respond to your "going vegan is just as bad as doing nothing whatsoever" argument, and I'm 99% sure you won't watch this because you'd rather turn a blind eye rather than jeopardize your lifestyle, but if you have a few minutes spare and believe in seeing both sides of the argument, give it a go:

I got to 12 minutes in and had to stop because im in streams of tears; it literally is too painful to watch
I have seen things with my own eyes to know that is a good reflection of what goes on.
How as a nation of animal lovers have we have allowed this to be part of our now evolved society?
In Britain we now have so much food choice avaliable, we have NO excuses for the cruelty we inflict on animals.
I really don't think many people have any idea about what goes into what they eat, meat or otherwise.
I said on the other vegan deal page that I grew up in a farming community, and have been a meat eater, a vegetarian and vegan and I am still learning, and still shocked.....
The tipping point for me becoming vegan was someone briefly mentioning 'chick culling', I had to look it up on Google/wiki because I wasn't really sure what they were talking about, and I felt so stupid; that I had been blinded by the whole free range egg thing, without ever thinking about the bigger picture.
I dunno, I'm glad people are starting to see the bigger picture and realise that governments and big business whitewash the world to make everything seem hunky dory;in order to keep vested interests serviced, and keep that cash rolling in from our pockets to theirs.
I'm glad that people chip away to show us truth, and I'm glad social media allows information to flow ( albeit somewhat censored on this site) ) so people can educate themselves with the truth.....
The truth is out there.
I've seen an offer in my local phone box called Vajanuary, but it's a different type of meal alltogether.

Couldn't have put it better myself. It's a shame there's a stigma around going vegan. There's millions of people in this country who wouldn't hurt a fly, but don't want to acknowledge how cruel farming is. It's understandable as it's so difficult to watch these videos, but i do think it should be more widely recognized.

It is hard to face the truth of what goes on, and it's hard to re-question the way you have been eating your entire life.
It's much easier to look away, to deny, to make excuses etc.
I agree with there being a stigma, but given the comments I've seen on this site, and the questions I often get asked, I assume most of it boils down to lack of the basic facts.

ohh look a vegan throwing an over-exaggerated video to prove their point. …ohh look a vegan throwing an over-exaggerated video to prove their point. how typical.child, I killed a pig when I was 8, no such thing happens on proper farm....but since you clearly are one of those pathetic obnoxious vegans, I suggest you stop taking all those supplements, and start eating local food like cabbage, potato and apples.... since not much else was available for an average folk in uk for good 500 yearshumans were not meant to live of fruit and veg alone. and even if that was true there is not enough space to grow crops for half of the population (and you vegans also refuse to use GMO).Now go eat some grass while I'll have a nice steak

Ok I thought you might have a coherent argument somewhere in there, and you might not just be a troll.. obviously mistaken
