I do love it when Supermarkets release new Vegetarian products & this new Bhaji Burger Meal has been launched this week to celebrate National Vegetarian Week in Morrisons Cafes - costing just £5 it is served with zingy mango chutney in a bread roll, along with lettuce, tomato, onion rings, coleslaw and chips.

Made from spiced cauliflower and sweet potato as well as onion, it is coated in panko breadcrumbs & flavoured with traditional spices such as cumin, ginger, garlic and turmeric.

It sounds delicious & I can't wait to try it BUT with 3 adults & 2 kids, it would be £25+ for us, not overly expensive in the scheme of things, but we are saving for break, so will be making our own similar ones at home at a fraction of the cost - and saving even more as they are on offer

If you want a fab veggie burger at home, we LOVE their Morrisons V Taste 4 Indian Style Quarter Pounders 454g normally £1.57 for a pack of 4 but currently on offer for 3 for £4 - so will feed all 5 of us twice for £4 plus buns etc

Just want to pop in to say this isn't the place to discuss animal killing methods or value of being a vegan. Let's keep the comments on topic to the deal please
I'd give it a try, I shop at Morrisons quite often: but this in a supermarket cafe feels like it should be cheaper than £5 to be considered an actual deal.
Never thought about using an onion bhaji as a burger, but it might just work

Sounds interesting, wonder how much spiced cauliflower and sweet potato is in the "onion" bhaji.
Here's to steering clear of this one.

They have a feed a family for £10 deal on after 3pm, where you get 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals and 4 drinks for a tenner.

Heat for deal, will try anything once
I tried this Monday evening & it's really nice. If you are offered to have BBQ sauce for 50p extra, say no as they have BBQ in sachets.

A sane voice
May contain peanuts. Contains wheat. The only 2 ingredients I'm allergic to.
So are the Indian style quarter pounds different from the burger in the cafe? If so do they see the filling so you can have at home? They sound nice. Cheers
They don't wipe the tables down or clear them quick enough after customers finish, at my local Morrison's.

I've heard the food isn't particularly nice either.
Wild and wet fish for me!

Shame, they only seem to do it when the vegans' comments get reported. They delete the educational comments too, and we're left with really valuable input like "I won't pay more then [sic] £1 for it"

Yeah, never seen them even pretend to be neutral. Majority of the time the discussion starts from troll meat-eaters, not like i randomly start talking about animal cruelty without reason
