Reduced from (apparently) £19.99. There are a lot of these bicycle cleaning machines, some as low as £2, some over £40! Even the most expensive ones seem to have some bad revues. The designs seem to vary in detail as well.

No need to remove the chain from the bike! works with the chain in place.

Simply open the casing, place over the chain, close the casing, pour your preferred cleaning fluid (not supplied) into the refill hole, hold the chain cleaner handle and turn your pedals to start cleaning.

Roller brush system, simple hand held operation, removable brushes and pad.

Large sponge soaks up solvent from the chain as it exits the cleaner, reducing drips and mess

Some WD40 (other similar cheaper products are available) and a Wisdom Toothbrush (other similar cheaper products are available) will do the job far less cheaply than the listed gadget which will probably be used once or twice in it's lifetime.... unless you go dirt biking every week

Then try the £2 version (delivered) which is probably cheaper then a good toothbrush, then you can save the toothbrush for cleaning your teeth

I still wouldn't buy a gadget - my 6 month old and replaced toothbrush will now have a responsibility once in a blue moon

Personally didn't bother with a chain cleaner and just used a paint brush with trimmed bristles and some good degreaser. Wash my chain with soapy water and make sure you dry it properly before applying any chain lubricant

I find the Lidl/Aldi ones pretty good for 3.99 or whatever they come in at. Of course none of them as good as taking the chain off, soaking in white spirit and then drying and relubing, but good enough

Out of stock at the moment, but the Jobsworth one is identical and cheaper: planetx.co.uk/i/q…ner

Is this a joke listing, £2.85 on eBay if you can wait a few weeks for delivery, for that reason I vote cold, or get a park tools for £18 on eBay

No, I did it to list the £2 version (delivered) which wouldn't have been allowed as a marketplace seller from China. All these chain cleaners seem to attract good and bad comments, even the most expensive but YMMV!

Sorry still half asleep, damn insomnia

Don't understand people who use these on their chains. Shouldn't degrease your chain. Wipe it down and that should be it. Otherwise you're just stripping all the factory lube and will need to lube properly again.

What factory lube?

When your chain is made it is lubricated properly with a very thick lubricant which is designed to last quite a few hundred miles. Via a dip process or something.

Sheldon has an article on it.

Interesting I'm sure, but I can't see anything through the rust and the mud
