Is this easy to install ?myself
My current extractor is making too much noise
It goes in the attic, not the ceiling like a common fan.A bit of wiring involved but worth it.

if you can wire a plug then yeah should be. most are 4" though so maybe measure your ducting first before buying.

Run some 1.5mm lighting cable from the same terminals on your bathroom ceiling rose to the unit,so it`ll come on and off when you turn the light on.
Great for my ganja operation

And then when you are having a bath in daytime then your light will be on too..
Easy way to do yes, but will be wasting money loads

You'll want some 3 Core cable to take a permanent live, switch live and neutral from the light fitting to a 3 pole isolator first and then from the isolator into the extractor fan
