Great price for this if you are after lots of portable storage

Featuring a USB 3.0 interface for SuperSpeed data transfer, the Store 'n' Go V3 USB Drive is up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0* making it faster for transferring and saving larger file sizes of all types.

The design of the V3 USB Drive also ensures that the USB connectors are protected featuring a 'slide and lock' mechanism. This locks into position when using the drive and retracts back into a closed position to protect the connector when not in use.

Simple and easy to use, just plug into any USB 3.0 port (also compatible with USB 2.0) and drag and drop your folders and files.

80 MB/s (read) 25 MB/s (write)

decent price
With a read speed of 25MBps it is going to take a loooong time to fill or put any file of substantial size on.... Good price for the capacity but would not be suited to frequent copying to the device of larger files.
Any idea how the speeds compare to 7dayshop.com/kin…ive ?
The Kingston has 5 years warranty for £43.99 while this one has only 2 years warranty.

Ah found it, this one does 80 MB/s (read) 25 MB/s (write) and the Kingston does 40 Mb/s (read) and 10 Mb/s (write), so this one is definitely better.

25MBps means 40s for 1GB which seems reasonable (1h27 to fill the 128G)

On that same site 7dayshop.com/7da…8gb says "Up to 160 MB/s Read and 130 MB/s Write" which sounds much better. If true.
For that kind of money I'd go for an SSD and pop it in a suitable enclosure!

but not as small and compact as this is
People seem to moan about write speeds whatever they are. 25MB/s is great for a USB drive. What exactly are you trying to do that makes 25MB/s inadequate?
Nice deal!

Could go mSATA, though for quite a bit more money.
