Me too, I think mine was actually £23 from Asda.

Affordable drive, store pick-up, heat.
Won't be long till the 'you could have paid more and got bigger' geek-rage starts, though : D

Any news on what stores have stock?

I Returned one on saturday . (milton keynes store) , only because i thought i picked up 2 320gb hard drives . the 320gb ones were the same price. someone wanna post that seperately?

Internally, are these 2.5" drives?

If so, anyone know what interface they would be - IDE or SATA?

I'm after a 2.5" drive for an old laptop and this, possibly, works out as a cheap option.

Unlikely to be IDE/PATA. You also need to watch which size your BIOS supports. Some older laptops only do up to 60gb.

Cheers fells - ties in with my thoughts after I posed the question.

Also, thanks for the BIOS/HDD tip - is there any way I can confirm what size HDD the BIOS would support?
