Each of these bad boys has a whopping 1.44MB of storage - just think how many .txt files you can store! 1000s, happy days :-D

It also states they are 100% Error Free which quite frankly is unheard of for Floppy Disks so if this is true it is a real breakthrough with this technology.

Complete with Lifetime Warranty for peace of mind - should get years of use from them.

Just 24.6p each, bargain!!! Don't all thank me at once ;-)

TBH I think they pretty much have - no new computer comes with a floppy drive these days. They will soon be in the history books forever - even more reason to buy one of these new sealed packs - collectors item, will be worth a fortune in 10 years time :-D

They still have their uses for me, my Yamaha Keyboard has a floppy disk drive for midi backup, and still use them on an Amiga 1200.

The floppys do bring back old memories. My first computer, my first laptop.

brings back memories so HOT for old times sake

its a bit scary as my kids have no idea what a cassette is

i feel old

ahhhhh takes you back eh
you would get some "recovery" prog with your first computer......... please insert disc 12 :-D

Remember we were still using these at work 5 years ago and some mates taking the mickey then!

Bet I could find a couple if I search my drawers and boxes in the loft.

I can remember working late one night prepping some PCs for next day delivery. Had the covers off to upgrade RAM & was installing Office from FDD. Got to around disk 20 & hit the power button instead of eject...

hear hear!
shove your blu-rays up your ****!

I can understand why WH Smith are struggling if this is the kind of stuff they sell.

Glad to see the back of these, created no end of issues with reading/writing, RIP!!

Very handy for bootable BIOS updates and such, there's not much call for floppies but always handy to keep a box in for hardware/firmware ops.
