im interested in these, any good deals going on bluray rewriter drives. and what sort of spec computer do you need to use one of these reliably? or does it not matter

There is the LG drive on Amazon @ £70. I have an earlier version and it performs well.
I would say any decent dual core PC with 4GB of Ram would be fine.

When you buy a pack of DVD-RW, you expect or rather you just know, that some of these wont burn for whatever reason. So you end up with the inevitable coasters and Frisbees, but you think nothing of it as they are ten a penny (well almost)!

However with the sheer cost of Blu Ray rewritables (BD-RE) and more especially BD-R (burn once), it's just not practical to do that so you want something reliable from the outset!
In my opinion the Verbatim discs are by far the most reliable I have used so far with my Lite-on writer, in that none of them have been faulty.
