Good find. About £50 elsewhere.

worth mentioning this is a 3.5" desktop drive, not a 2.5" portable (which is about £60).

Excellent deal, many thanks OP, I've just ordered 2. I think there may also be 8% cash back from Quidco.

Good deal, the 1.5TB version works out at only £59.99 too - http://www.robertdyas.co.uk/P~150789~Verbatim+Hard+Drive+USB+2.0+1.5TB

Thats more of an average deal!

How so? On this 1TB you save £7.97 (next cheapest CCL @ £51.96) and on the 1.5TB you save £8.01 (next cheapest Amazon at £68).

Because your saving just about £8 on both... An £8 saving on a £44 deal is better than on a £60 deal!... Its all about percentages.

Fair point, but given the lack of heat perhaps they're both average deals.
