I don't consider 5.5 to be a phablet. That's a standard size phone these days and a phablet to me needs to be at least 6.5 preferably 7. Seems decent phone though.

I can see both sides of the argument, so let's meet in the middle - let us say a 6" & above phone should be considered a phablet nowadays.

Yep to be honest 5.5 inch is par for the course if you're buying from China now. I'd prefer smaller, but tbh you get used to it. Should be a little easier to live with once curved screens are perfected, that seems to be the next craze incoming...

it's a lot of hardware for the price. I saw discussions where the first version of the software had big issues, not connecting in Europe even for phonecalls! the second version fixed connectivity but slowed the phone down to manage heat and battery. or so people said. Progress or lack of it might be found in the vernee forums... bbs.vernee.cc/for…=40

Better buy it from Amazon or UK retailer. Gearbest aren't trustworthy in my opinion
